The staff in teh reception was really nice and helpful. Nice and clean room. Breakfast was ok, it had warm and cold dishes. Extra plus for the freshly baked bread. It was still warm when we came to breakfast around 10.

friendly helpful staff, lovely restaurant, five minutes walk from the railway station and the Tivoli. Close enough to walk to all the major city attractions of the wonderful Copenhagen. The city is expensive, but who cares, it is really worth a visit. And from this hotel you can be on a train and in Sweden in no time at all.

First Hotel Mayfair is a great choice if you like to visit Cph. Is very close to the centre of the city. Providing great designed luxury rooms. Excellent service, very nice rooms at the lobby to relax and one of the best breakfast experience at the Bostonian Bar & Grill area!

This is a really well situated hotel in Copenhagen. It is close to the train station and in close walking distance of town centre. Rooms were a little small, but perfectly adequate and very good value. The staff were absolutely brilliant, particularly the reception staff who couldn't have been more helpful. One caution is to be wary of the cost...

The location was excellent, minutes from Central Station and Tivoli. Staff very friendly and helpful. We opted for a twin room in the newer part of hotel which was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay at the First Mayfair again.

Very friendly reception staff, great location, nice restaurant attached. Room was overall very nice, was a little tired in places and could have done with a paint. Overall a great stay, reasonable value for money, would recommend.

If you are visiting Copenhagen as a family this hotel is just perfect. It is located near Tivoli and the city centre. We had i junior suite and this room is perfect for a family because of the door between the livingroom and the bedroom. The kids slept in the livingroom while we could stay up and relax in the...

Maybe a cultural difference but the only fault I could really find was the lack of tea and coffee facilities. Location very good and staff excellent. On site bar is decent and is a very short walk from the central train station.

Chose this hotel for the location. It's right next to Tivoli gardens, 2 mins walk from the station so easy to get to from the airport and about 30 mins walk to Nyhaven. The rooms are very small and very cosy. Suffered the same issue with the bins being taken out - very noisy very early. No tea and coffee...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
