The hotel is without doubt super stylish, welcoming and friendly. It’s also brilliantly located for the Central Station. Something was lacking for me, which prevents me giving it a 5/5 review. I think it was my room, which was (very) small and didn’t quite feel in keeping with the rest of the hotel somehow. It’s almost as if the hotel tries a bit too hard on the style & design side, which it does very well, and foregoes a few other things. I enjoyed my stay here though, but I’m just not sure if it was enough to make me want to come back.

Thank you for providing feedback on your recent stay at our hotel. We appreciate your positive comments regarding our stylish ambiance, welcoming atmosphere, and convenient location near Central Station. Great hotel, very welcoming helpful staff. Wine hour was a nice touch and meant the lobby had a buzz. Clean and trendy decor, secure luggage room and great location. We stayed in a room for three and there was more space than we expected. Lovely stay

Lovely little hotel in an excellent location. Everywhere was walkable. The staff were friendly and helpful with local recommendations. The room was compact, but clean and comfortable with everything you would need. Molten Brown toiletries were a nice touch! The buffet breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Wine hour was a definite bonus, as were the excellent coffee machines in the lounge area. Another thing I liked was the rewards you received if you chose not to have your room made up each day. The choices were either a bag of sweets, bike hire, or 100Kr to spend on drinks in their sister hotel, Absalon, which is just across the street. Anyone who knows me, knows which one I picked! Cheers!

This stay at this hotel was booked as part of a package and my expectations were for an average place to lay my head. How wrong I was! The Andersen Boutique Hotel is quite simply one of the best I have stayed- ever. On arriving, the receptionist was warm and friendly with a keenness to help that is relatively out of the norm these days. This willingness to make our stay as best as possible continued throughout the visit with all reception staff and the kind people who assisted at the bar being nothing short of excellent. Our room was clean, tidy and offered all amenities. If I had a niggle, it would only be that the courtyard area below can cause sound to carry into the rooms. This is, however, a limited problem as the area is not open constantly. The hotel offer an organic breakfast which is lovely and, rather unexpectedly, they have a happy hour daily where guests are given a glass of wine to enjoy. Fabulous! If I go back to Copenhagen again, the Andersen will absolutely be where I shall be staying.

We stayed at The Anderson to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We booked direct and got a better price than the tour companies. Also left a note about anniversary and had a bottle of bubbly, some beautiful Macarons and a personally written congratulations card in our room. The place is lovely. Really cool design with an awesome buffet breakfast. Wine hour is a real bonus in the lounge as is the unlimited free Nespresso in both lounge and bedrooms. The bathrooms have Molton Brown shower, conditioner, shampoo and hand gels. The lounge itself is a really nice vibe and beautifully designed. The staff are so friendly and the location is perfect. Right near to the station but a five minute stroll to the heart of Vesterbro or the fantastic Meat Packing district and literally 5 mins to Tivoli if that’s your thing. If you expect 5 star service, a fully working bar and a restaurant then this is not for you. If you want a cool, laid back, welcoming hotel that includes brilliant staff, a well designed room, superb location, huge range of food in the buffet breakfast, free glass of wine every night and an honesty bar then get this hotel booked! Copenhagen is amazing. Top tip is to take the metro to Oreintkaj and then take the Waterbus back through to Nyhavn. All for the price of your unlimited 90kr a day city pass. The city from the water is amazing. You can also stop off at Reffen, a great street food market.

This is such a lovely hotel. The bedroom was well equipped and comfortable, the breakfast just the right start for a day exploring Copenhagen and the staff really lovely and helpful. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Central Train Station and if you prefer, local bus stops. We loved the fact that you could turn down housekeeping during your stay and have a gift instead. Other lovely touches are the giant teddy bears in the lounge area, games such as chess and backgammon and the knitting area! We would definitely recommend this hotel for a long weekend in Copenhagen.

Stayed for 3 days and didn’t want to leave. A beautiful hotel with soul! Room was well appointed ( though a few drawers or shelves would have been nice) , comfy bed , hugh shower and of course everything smelled great with the Molton Brown toiletries. Happy Wine hour is a lovely touch as is the honesty bar. We visited the sister hotel across the road to spend our voucher , another cosy space , we stayed there a couple of hours. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were so helpful & friendly. I hope to return, would definitely recommend. Also really handy for the train station.

First of all - really appreciated Alexander at front desk. He really helped us enjoy our stay. Location is good - train and subway (we had Copenhagen card so we used both transportation options and a boat tour of canals - proximity was perfect). I dinged because of our room. Sewer gas smell when we used the sink, and the nespresso coffee maker in room leaked water when we tried to make a morning cup - we thought just on the desk - but it also got in safe (and our passports!). The beds were comfy, room was clean. Nice toiletries! So not bad just a few issues. We appreciated wine happy hour and drink chits at sister hotel if you skipped room service. Breakfast was good - nice bread. OJ was fantastic. I would prefer hard boiled eggs .. but that’s just personal preference.

Excellent service from the start - we had an early flight and arrived at 12pm but our room was ready so we could drop our bags and get out sightseeing . Our room was a small double but it was fine and not cramped . The breakfasts were delicious with lots to choose from . The staff were very friendly , always a plus! Location perfect and close to the central station . Note when coming from the airport take the train not metro - both get there but the train takes under 15 minutes . I recommend the Andersen to anyone looking for a stay in lovely Copenhagen .
