What a wonderful hotel! On our first night in Copenhagen we easily found the Anderson just a few minutes walk from the Central railway station and were welcomed with a relaxed, friendly smile, a beautifully stylish reception area and an invitation to "join us for a good glass of wine" between 5-6. This warm and hospitable introduction to Copenhagen set...

We stayed here for 3 nights and were really happy with our lot. Hotel is appropriately priced and in a great location. Close to the station, which witch we used to get back to the airport instead of a taxi, and for a day trip to Malmo. Also perfect for exploring the city as everything was within walking distance. Don't...

The hotel is ideally located less than 5 minutes walk from the central train station (and Tivoli Gardens). Staff were helpful, professional and welcoming. The room was quite small, but comfortable, spotless and colorful with vibrant accent pillows and stylish furnishings (the bed was split into two single mattresses and comforters which was slightly odd, but did not impact the...

What a lovely weekend. For us this hotel was perfectly situated, lovely decor and super helpful staff. Breakfast was calm and there was plenty to choose from. We Will definitely use on our next visit.

Stayed here for one night while in town for a concert. Excellent location two minutes walk from the central station and close to Tivoli and the start of the main shopping street. Was able to check in early with a warm friendly welcome and an offer of a free drink at their daily afternoon lounge event. Room small but had...

Stayed at the Andersen Boutique Hotel for 3 nights. For a World Luxury Hotel certificate holder, I expected way better. The room was basically the equivalent of a travel lodge in the U.K. Bathroom was scruffy and the temperature in the room, even when the heating was turned off and windows opened, was hot. Didn't get one good nights sleep....

Good location, very friendly staff who are happy to give advice on restaurants and local attractions along with a great breakfast selection. Our room was a good size and well decorated, there's also a well stocked honesty bar if you fancy a nightcap. However, a top tip is to be in reception between 5 and 6pm for a glass or...

Really good boutique hotel. Good quality wine during the wine hour. Some of the shower/wash rooms are very space poor. However, it wouldn't stop me from staying there again, I would just ask for a room with a bath instead.

The lobby and the hotel room were clean and fresh, friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet. The drawbacks were: No power outlet close to the bed, cold tiled floor in the bathroom, poor sound insulation in between rooms (I could here everything that happened in the neighbouring room). There was no noise from the street though. The staff in the breakfast...

Very friendly boutique hotel within easy walking distance of station, sights and restaurants. Excellent good quality breakfast. Wine hour was a bonus. Little treats on stairwells a pleasant surprise. Comfortable bedroom with tea & coffee making facilities.

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
