Nice hotel where you get an excellent treatment. The breakfast was ok but did not have so many different choices. It was very hot in the rooms and some noise from the street but we had no problems changing rooms and got one facing the courtyard. Nice to be offered wine in the afternoon. A + were the bikes that...

We enjoyed our stay at The Andersen. All the staff are friendly and helpful with great restaurant tips and the location a two minute walk from central station is perfect for getting to from the airport. Our room over the street was comfortable but a little noisy at night which meant you needed to shut the window or listen to...

The Andersen Hotel is in a great central location for visiting Copenhagen's attractions on foot. Being just 2 minutes walk from the central station means that it is also easy to travel using the good public transport. My only criticism of our stay is that the bathroom in room 98 doesn't live up to the standards elsewhere in the hotel....

Nice hotel in Copenhagen. Attempted to make the rooms interesting, not sure about some of the design choices. Junior suite is decently sized room, with a sofa along with the bed. Refrigerator in room. No air conditioning. Watch out in the summer, because the room may get hot if the temperature rises, and the area can be loud. Hotel is...

Andersen Boutique Hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Friendly atmosphere and ditto staff with a perfect location in the Danish capital. There are some memorable details to mention: the surprise reward at every floor if you take the stairs instead of the elevator, the wine hour and the 'honestly bar'. Of course I will return...

My room, a single, was possibly the smallest I'd ever stayed in, but so charmingly decorated and well equipped, it was one of my favourites. All creature comforts, including tea and coffee making, are ergonomically and stylishly laid on. My room backed onto the inner courtyard and was extremely quiet. My teenage sons had a twin room at the front...

Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff and all very laid back - the breakfast and free wine hour were a bonus. Hotel us centrally located within walking distance of attractions/restaurants or central station so extremely handy to get around. Also lots of nice restaurants very close by. Only minor point is there was no air con in our room although...

We stayed two nights at this nice little boutique hotel just steps away from the train station. We were going to be needing to take the train for the first part of our trip in Copenhagen, so it made sense to find a hotel close by. We were very happy with the Andersen. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room...

Nestled in the very foodie meatpacking district, this hotel will be perfect for those who enjoy eating at the latest new gourmand and "pop-up" spots. If there on a weekend in the summer months, there is a food truck festival in the middle of this district that is fun for people watching all the locals while taking in some incredible...

This boutique hotel is located in the hip Vesterbro district. We stayed here for 2 nights in July. The weather at the time was beautiful with very warm days. Unfortunately this meant a very warm room as well, with no aircondioning. There was an oscillating fan in the room but it didn't do much. Thankfully the windows opened although the...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
