Stayed in the Scandic Place Hotel which is located in easy walking distance to most attraction in down town Copenhagen. Staff was professional and very efficient in check in process and with any request we made. This is a very old building with wonderful charm in all of the public areas and hallways. When you enter your room it is... More

The hotel staff is very friendly and willing to serve. The rooms are comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated. The breakfast had a great selection of fruits, cereals, breads, cheeses and cold cuts. It is a beautiful hotel in the best location in the city.

The hotel is situated across the street from Tivoli Gardens and very close to the main pedestrian shopping street. It is a lovely old style hotel but with modern rooms and amenities. For a central city hotel the price of the room wasn't too high. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh and all the staff I spoke to were attentive and... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Had an among room overlooking the roofs of downtown Copenhagen. Decor is a wonderful combination of chic and funky. Breakfast was great, healthy local options, very fresh. Sat outside on the terrace for lovely dinner. Hotel is in the center so walking distance to all the beauty that Copenhagen has to offer. Can highly... More

This is a great hotel with a great location if you want to stay in Copenhagen and walking distance. The staff at the hotel is very service minded. Great breakfast! Tightly room for pick-up all the nice breakfast alternative.

Good location.Historic hotel across from City Hall square; near the corner of one end of Stroget Pedestrian street and 5 minute walk to Tivoli Gardens. Typical of all Scandic's that we have stayed in, complementary breakfast buffets are fabulous. Hotel rents bikes or you can get electric assist bikes(just near the hotel) with flex drop off locations that you pay... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
