The hotel seemed pretty old and has a lot of character but with modern, redesigned rooms and facilities. The location was great, right in the middle of a ton of shops and restaurants. I was in walking distance of quite a lot of attractions. The...More

Hotels in Copenhagen are extremely expensive and the Scandic Palace is no exception. We chose this hotel for its location. It shares a square with the city hall and is right around the corner from the start of the Stroget shopping street. The Tivoli Garden...More
A very good location with nice view out of the window. However, very poor breakfast in a crowded room, old and uncomfortable beds. Very dissatisfying relation of price and quality. Of course friendly, but not more as you can expect anyway in Scandinavia

I stayed one night in this hotel and went to another city the day after. The location is very convenient close to the main street and restaurants and bars.
The free parking and breakfast are plus for this hotel and even helpful personnel.

The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding

This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.

I read that a car park is available. We were in Copenhagen at the Scandic Palace and apart from the train ride into town on the day we arrived and a taxi ride on the day we left, we WALKED EVERYWHERE. Copenhagen is a small city. The locals and visitors merely walk or bike to places. You may find the car to be more of an inconvenience.
I would suggest contacting the hotel, rather than asking here. This is Trip Advisor, a website & app for reviews of hotels, restaurants, activities....
