Whilst in a good location by its proximity to the train station, if you happen to be located at the end of the hotel by the train line, you're not going to be happy. I was early for check in and I was asked if I minded the room right on the end by the train. I said I was...

This hotel is in a good location close to the train station but is a little isolated. Nevertheless quirky pubs such as The Warpig and Tivoli are only a ten minute walk away. What really makes the hotel are the facilities on the shared site which are free to guests. These include a bowling alley and a large public pool...

Very good clean hotel, quite basic accommodation, no frills, but perfect for a city break and ideal if attending a sporting event in the complex. Nice polite staff, decent breakfast, good wifi. Don't expect luxury but everything works well! Very convenient for the central station. Excellent large swimming pool and sauna.

I am a returning guest at this very centrally located hotel in the middle of an increasingly vibrant part of Copenhagen and walking distance to the main train station. It has excellent watersport facilities, but the rooms are starting to look a bit worn. No fruit at breakfast :-(

The rooms are pretty big, but kinda worn, the beds are good though. With all the floorspace they could maybe fit a small sofa or another chair. There was some noise from the railway in the early morning hours, not a lot, but enough to hear it. But I guess you must expect some noise in most hotels located in...

I can see why some people dont like the view/noise of the trains, but that didnt bother me. and yes I guess it is a bit like a youth hostel in that the rooms are fairly basic (and in need of a bit of refurb), but if you want cheap(er) and cheerful, (because hotels here are expensive), youth hostels arent...

Fitness Centre, conveniently located to the rail system and conference centre are pluses for this hotel. It is close to the Trivoli amusement park and walking street, however, on the far end of the popular Nyhaven area. Single bed accommodation is not the hotel standard Americans are used to, though comforters in Denmark have always received an A+ from me....

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
