We stayed for two nights and everything went just fine. The hotel had breakfast on the offering but it seemed so pricy that we decided to skip it. Rooms was smallish but quite nice in all respects. However there is a need for some renovation soon... Location was good, next to the central station and close to the "meatpacking district".

The hotel is nice, the call it a green hotel. The room I had reserved wasn't available because of plumbing issues so they compensated by giving me free access to the sauna which I didn't use. The room was nicely decorated and clean but the bed was smaller than what I had originally reserved, but comfortable. There was a small...

This was certainly an eco-friendly hotel, from the foyer, to the breakfast to the rooms etc. The room was very comfortable and the service was great. Its location is central although it does seem to be on the edge between tourist town and the more seedier section.

Conveniently located hotel, short walk from Tivoli Gardens. We loved the Eco friendly ways of the hotel, very comfortable bed, powerful shower. At first I was skeptical about the towels in the bathroom, but was pleasantly surprised and quickly won-over by the non-fluffy material that I'd have expected as a tea towel in the kitchen. We went for a double...

We spent 4 nights here in August. We chose this hotel mainly because of its location and their eco-friendly concept. The standard room is small but comfortable and charming. The double bed was actually two single beds, I did not like that. Bathroom is nicely decorated but without any area to keep toiletries so it gets very messy. Opposed from...

We spent four nights at Axel Guldsmeden in the beginning of June. We chose the hotel because last year we stayed at the lovely Bertrams Guldsmeden further out in Vesterbro, now wanting something with better access to easy transportation options. The hotel has quite a high price tag. You pay a premium for the full organic experience (which we love...

A really good option for a weekend in this exciting city, the Axel Guldsmeden was recommended to me by a Danush colleague and it did not disappoint. I tagged the weekend on to a business trip and entering the Axel takes you far away from work and bland business hotels. It's Asian influence signs through from the decor in reception...

I was a bit curious when my friend told me about the hotel she stayed at in Copenhagen. Organic fabrics, organic food, organic drinks, organic everything. So I had to see for my self and decided to visit her for two days. AMAZING! The food was really good and the organic drinks as cocktails, beer etc where really good. I...

Nicely located close to Tivoli and Rådhusplassen. We had a room fencing the backyard, so no streetnoice. Beds are good, bathroom nice, except for the towels. (I know everything is organic, but I do like soft towels, sorry). We only missed a frigde in our room, otherwise its is good value for money. We did not try the breakfast, but...

We stayed here for 3 nights on a weekend break in Copenhagen. The hotel is in a great central location, a few minutes walk from the station and Tivoli Gardens. There are plenty of places near by to eat and drink and although we'd read some reviews saying the area is quite seedy, but we felt completely safe walking round...

This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
