Detailed Reviews
Costumer Service was Excellent, Rooms were clean, The Chef at the Restaurant and staff, and reception area all so friendly and welcoming.
Rooms were well designed and comfortable had all the amenities you needs in addition there was a room on each floor where you could get extra towels etc
If you wanted a little snack outside of the hotel their was a supermarket next door and the train station was a 5 minute walk away. You are literally 3 train stops from the middle of downtown Copenhagen and you can easily switch trains to the airport.
When I visit Copenhagen again it we'll be Zuku Copenhagen.

This hotel utilizes a modern concept a bit unlike most hotels I’m used to. You take an elevator to the 5th floor in order to check in at the hotel bar. The staff is young, many of them apprenticing and all trying hard to be helpful. The hotel rooms are very cubicle making use of every square inch of space. I think the spaces are a bit too tight. The hotel has tons of amenities. They’re all a la carte so you can expect a good cash outlay if you buy drinks, food or snacks. The location is good with a super market only steps away from the Zoku’s front door.
This place is great if you’re young and want to adventure a bit in somewhat tight quarters

I have had the opportunity to be among the first guests to visit and stay at Zoku Copenhagen at the beginning of May 2021. Having worked in the Nordic tourism industry for the past 15 years, I was curious to discover more about the concept brought by Zoku to its guests. Zoku is not simply a hotel, but a place to feel home. Their rooms, quite spacious, offer everything a person may like: comfortable beds, kitchen with everything (cuttlery, dishwasher, stoves and microwave, coffee machine, water boiler, plates, glasses and cups), an amazing bathroom and really well designed spaces to store clothes, suitcases and much more. The hotel has social spaces, where you can relax, socialize, read or play board games... but what is more amazing is that they source their food mainly from local places and they have a really great restaurant, where meals and breakfast are served. Their personnel is also relaxed and always ready to help and make you feel comfortable. I hope that I will have more opportunities to discover other venues from Zoku's brand.
P.S.: The only suggestion that I would give is to change the coffee grains for the espresso machine at the bar, the coffee is extremely bitter, and cook the chicken 2 minutes more

Very efficient layout of the room although de pictures of it on Booking.com are not entirely accurate. We stayed in a Zoku room and one of the pictures (picture 5 of 6) suggest that there is a proper seating area with a couch and table. This is not the case. The other pictures represent the room quite well. Comfortable bed and good shower. Wifi works well. There is a supermarket next door and while public transport is only 100 meters away you can easily walk to the city center through a nice park.
We had dinner there one night and the quality of the food was not on par with its price. Unfortunately there are basically no options around the hotel so it's better to have dinner in the city before you go back to the hotel.
Parking is expensive (300 DKK/day) but there is still some long term free street parking very nearby on Rode Mellemvej.

Hello Tom Thank you for your review of our Zoku Room. As you mentioned correctly, there is a lounge chair or a very small sofa in those rooms depending on which side of the building the room is situated. We have also noted your feedback on the food and will work together with you kitchen team to improve! We hope to see you soon again with us, Cheers

Fantastic rooms, a bit pricier than southern Europe but that is par for the course in Copenhagen. You can rent nice bikes to explore the city! Rooms are large and well designed, however the loft style does require some level of physicality to avoid disaster coming down the stairs in the morning before caffeination.
And there are two groceries near by. The only small nudge is that the kitchens need a bit more in the way of bowls (large and medium). And perhaps a few more amenities (e.g. strainer, etc).. The concept of the "Pantry" for those additional amenities makes sense, but need more variety there.
Lastly, the washer/dryer in the basement was great. And while you have to add $20 to the app, they app does promptly refund any funds you don't use.

We spent from 27 Dec to 20 Jan in an XXL apartment, while our house is being renovated, and with a newborn. It was super comfortable, and easy. Cleaning came more often than 3 days and always easy to get what we needed from the super helpful staff. Kitchen is reasonably equipped with two cooking spots and a microwave. A real oven, a bowl and a few other kitchen things would make it even better when staying long-term. We had dinner in the restaurant a couple of times. Food is great and reasonably priced. I can highly recommend this!

The check-in is at the top floor, the 5th floor, where the bar/restaurant is also located. Friendly, young staff welcomes you and does the check-in very quickly.
Our room was in the 2nd floor. It has a modern, cool design that makes it look more like a one small bedroom apartment than a hotel room. It has a kitchen, working desk, sofa, and plenty of storage space. Bathroom very modern, with great hot water. Wi-fi was very good. It has everything you need (microwave, kitchen, dishes, silverware, etc.) to live in the hotel for a long stay.
The hotel is by the Southern campus of the University of Copenhagen, a lot of students live around the hotel. There is a Fotex grocery store in the corner and a very decent (and inexpensive) University cafeteria two blocks north of the hotel. We came back walking from the city center many nights and we never felt unsafe or had any problems.
The location is a short 25' subway ride from the CPH airport and a 20' walk to the center of Copenhagen.
Highly recommended. We'll stay again at this hotel next time in Copenhagen.

A great apt hotel. Brand new and full of everything you need for a comfy sleep and trip.
Whilst this hotel isn’t in the centre of CPH it’s only 2 stops on the tram from hotel to city centre in just 10 mins.
Located in a residential area it has a great shop just underneath for all your goods.
The room (XL city view) was perfect. A great use of space with full kitchen (microwave / oven. Hob. Dishwasher and fridge)
The bathroom had a great shower and plenty of space to store items.
The room had a full Size TV that could do with some more channels and the option for Netflix’s but you can stream via mobile.
The bed is the best just located up a small set of stairs. So comfy and a great concept.
I would say the room needs a few more plug sockets by the living area as you are limited for charging when say there.
The loft area is amazing. So Clean with great staff on hand to chat too.
The layout of this hotel was perfect.
Even to having a full laundry and locker room in the basement for suitcase on your exit day.
Can’t wait to visit again.

This hotel makes an amazing use of space. The room is a great size to begin with, but they fit so many amenities in with the way the room is laid out. We got a room that had a kitchen in it - there was even a dishwasher (because let's be honest, no one likes washing dishes on vacation, it's also far more hygienic).
We loved how the bed was up the pull-out stairs in a loft. Beware, if you require accessibility this type of room is not for you. The bed was so cozy and had plugs for phone chargers etc, and a switch that controlled all the lights in the room. Which, has a soft setting when you turned it on in the morning, so you're not blinded. Loved that. The sink was a little malodorous, and the dishwasher didn't smell that great either, maybe a cleaning tab would help this?!
As a plant lover, I absolutely loved all the plants that lined the hallway to the reception/restaurant/bar area on the 5th floor. We were here in in the winter, but also have some great outdoor spaces as well.
Overall the hotel was very aesthetically pleasing, and the staff was incredibly friendly, would definitely stay a Zoku hotel again!

Room furnished with care, Nordic style and quite minimal but with all the necessary comforts. It also has a kitchenette, which allows you to enjoy some meals independently (given the prices in Copenhagen).
The location is not very central (close to the university campus), but the metro stop at 1 minute still makes it functional for travel. Also a plus is the presence of 2 supermarkets just below the hotel, with a wide range of products available.
In the corridor of each floor there is also a dedicated space in which to retrieve any clean towels and other (pillows, sheets...).
In case you arrive before check-in, they have a room on the -1 floor with lockers to leave your bags and a service bathroom (very convenient).
