Hotel Sct. Thomas is often praised for its cleanliness, with guests consistently noting the tidy nature of both the rooms and common areas. The welcoming atmosphere, highlighted by a cozy bar and charming roof terrace, adds to the hotel's appeal, although some guests find the evenings noisy and rooms a tad small.
The prime location is a hit among travelers for its proximity to central Copenhagen and nearby attractions. While opinions on value vary, with some concerns over breakfast costs, the staff receives kudos for their friendly and helpful service.

Detailed Reviews
Amazing and superbly friendly staff from Mary, Aleksander and Sofie. Even the housekeeping and breakfast buffet staffs! Their politeness, warmth and friendliness were priceless. We were staying for our wedding and many smiles and congratulatory wishes from everyone. Best of all, complimentary wines on the house for us both!
Cleanliness was excellent. Very cozy room eventhough quite small. Our room was facing the main road Frederiksberg Alle, but rather quiet at night. We loved it. We communicated prior to arrival and concerned about check-in time (might be past midnight) but they went beyond by explaining the self check-in process. How thoughtful.
We managed to arrive before midnight and check-in process was smooth. We required several adaptors for our electronics, we were offered more than we asked! Ironing facilities were also asked prior to our arrival, everything was ready in the room. Amazing! Breakfast buffet was scrumptious. Area was cozy and lovely décor and best of all, excellent taste in background music.
According to the staff, the hotel was recently renovated and we enjoyed the look and feel. Walking distance to downtown Copenhagen and Fredericksberg. A lot of nice dining spots and convenient stores. Lovely boutiques around and shopping too.
Staffs were very accommodating with our taxi bookings, Corona test center and other nice places to visit. Thank you Sofie, Mary and Alexander.

Very kind and helpful staff, good breakfast, and safely adjusted to COVID-situation. I will come back!
One tips if you are getting up late in the morning is to ask for a room far away from the staircase because the door makes quite a loud sound in the morning when people are rushing to early breakfast. However those rooms are by the windows with the best view, so if you are a early bird, just ignore this. Besides this, it’s very quiet, both in the hotel and from the outside (I was visiting during pandemic so of course there were a lot less guests, but it still it felt it would be rather quiet with more people).

This is a lovely hotel on the very pretty Frederiksberg Alle just five minutes from Fredriksberg Metro station and twenty minutes walk from Tivoli Gardens.
We asked for a room on an upper floor for the view and the room was very big with a comfortable bed, table/chairs and a large hanging space.
The bathroom is small but a wetroom style with superb pressure on the shower and a cupboard under the sink for toiletries.
There isn't a fridge or drinks facilities but that didn't bother us, unlike other reviewers, as we bought water in a local store and the little bar by reception does lovely coffees plus wine/spirits.
The breakfast room is in the basement with a very healthy spread of meats, cheeses, pastries, yoghurts, juices and cereals - it is expensive but the buffet style meant you don't need lunch!
There is a beautiful cafe just opposite if you want al fresco.
The roof terrace is very big and you can bring drinks upstairs plus there is a sauna!
All staff are very nice, check-in/out is easy with a baggage storeroom and you can use the facilities if you arrive early.
Overall a great place to stay.

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the bus and metro lines and within 20 minutes walk of the centre of Copenhagen. The price is also good for Copenhagen standards.
However, several aspects were very disappointing:
The housekeeping did not clean our room once during our 4 day stay. Some days they didn’t show at all and on others they just made one bed and left the other. There was visible dust in many parts of the room.
The walls and doors are very thin, meaning you can hear your neighbours every word, especially in the corridors.
The twin room was minuscule in size and very sparsely furnished. There was barely enough room for two people to stand in it at the same time. The pictures on the website glorify the room proportions and decorations, not quite expressing the truth. The bathroom was good apart from the cleanliness issue mentioned above.
The breakfast was okay. The pastries and bread from the local bakery were outstanding, however if you went to breakfast at 9 o’clock or later, a lot of the food was gone and not replenished. The other parts of the buffet were very sparse but tasted good.
The receptionists were very nice and helpful. However the hotel was in the process of exchanging the locks on all the doors, meaning that some days we would come back finding out that the key/keycard we were given did not work. It’s understandable but becomes a nuisance when you have to go to the reception daily to exchange keys to get into your room. Also the renovations meant our room was not ready until late afternoon.
Overall the hotel is closer to a two star hotel than what it is given currently. I would recommend spending a little extra to go for a chain brand.

Dear Pawel, I am really sorry to hear about your ecxperience. We do recognize some of the points you mention. Unfortunatly, the process of changing the door locks affected our quest and staff during the days you were here. I do apologize for the inconvenience during your stay, even I understand that you don't want to use the discount code offered as compensation. I can asure you, that we have solved the issues around Breakfast and housekeeping! We had some challenges with staff training when we reopened after Covid 19,and that affected our standard in cleaning and breakfast service, but that is all taken care of now. Our rooms have standard size and refurbishment. The new rooms on 4. floor have got a great update and will soon be ready to use. Next step will be to renovate the other floors in the hotel. Again, I do apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see you again and show you that we have got the lacks and locks in a great shape. Kind regards Charlotte Hotel Manager.

The hotel looks a lot nicer in the photo than it does in real life. It feels more like it is stuck on a corner of the road. You can't get into reception without ringing the bell or a key card. The reception area is small but nice. Some tablets to sit at. There is also a downstairs breakfast area where you can also leave luggage and has some loo's. But the key cards lock at 11am on the morning of your check out so you have to ask someone to unlock the loos. The breakfast was good, but the only hot food was scrambled eggs that tasted like they came from a packet and hard boiled. On our second morning, there were no eggs for 15 minutes then only scrambled eggs. There are 4 different types of cheese, some meats, salads, olives, tapenades and the bread selection was excellent. But again on the second morning they ran out of bread slices and rolls and croissants and only replaced the breads. I wanted a croissant.
The room was probably one of the smallest I have slept in, in a long time. There were no cupboards, just a rail by the door and open shelves above. If you put your clothes too close to the door they got stuck in them on closing the door. There was no bed side table and no plug by the bed on one sides. There was a tiny desk. The bathroom was tiny. The shower didn't drain so the whole bathroom got flooded when you showered. The loo didn't flush. The towels were o.k. There was one tiny shelf to put your toiletries on. The only thing I liked about the room was the lovely lamp shade which was very Danish and lovely. We borrowed an ironing board but not only was there barely enough room to put it up in the room it was also broken. For the price I think this didn't meet my expectations. The location however was good, and very close to our friends and Tivoli which is where we needed to be. The staff were lovely and helpful and ordered us taxis' etc. But I'm sure there are nicer places, in as good a location, that are the same price.

The hotel is in a perfect location, with a roughly 10 minute walk to central Copenhagen. If you don't want to walk, there is a bus stop (7A) that runs every 7 minutes. There's also a Metro stop just up the road from the hotel.
Check in, is at 15:00 but they will hold your luggage if you arrive early. English and Danish is spoken by the staff, and the staff is lovely and will always say Hi, and help when possible.
Check in is quick and easy, there is a lift up to the rooms, however it's a very small lift that could only really hold 2 people (without suitcases) and 1 person with suitcase (we had 2 big suitcases mind!).
We had a standard room, which was on the small side, but it was perfect for what we needed it for (a place to sleep). The bed is very comfy. Daily cleaning of the rooms and change towels every second day if used.
Satellite TV in the room, with loads of Danish, English, German Channels.
You can rent bikes from the hotel for 150DKK for the whole day! This was a great way to explore Copenhagen and beyond, and it was a lot of fun!
The hotel does offer breakfast, but we didn't try it out, as there was bakery just down the road, and we found it a little expensive, but the hotel lobby does offer Coffee, Tea and drinks which we did a few times. Coffee was really good, and the range of teas to choose from (Including English Breakfast, Fruit Teas etc).
Overall, I would defiantly stay here again. Perfect Location, Restaurants all around the hotel, Lovely staff and brilliant room

stayed here for 3 nights in october 2019. it is about 5 minutes by bus from copenhagen central railway station. The bus stops about 50 meters from the hotel while coming from the station, and the bus stop to the station is about 100 meters from the hotel. the frederiksberg alle metro station is just about 500 meters.so this place will be very convenient to tourists. further the room which we stayed on the 3rd floor was very big, and very clean. the bathroom was clean but very small. Breakfast was good. the room heaters were working fine. there were many restaurants at the nearby main road. Rooms could be updated. Thank you hotel sct thomas for obliging my request for a 2 hour late checkout. Overall had a wonderful stay and would highly recomend this hotel.

The hotel is in a perfect location, on a relatively quiet street, walking distnace from the center. Nicely renovated, including some rooms. Not the one we had, it was the same as when we visited many years ago.
The room does not provide much space to add a storage space or a small fridge, but at least there could be few more hooks in the bathroom and in the room to hang clothes, towels, etc. The shower curtain does not close fully, hence water is sprayed outside no matter how hard we tried. No paper tissues.
The breakfast is excellent, it deserves 5*, but not the room.
Considering the hot summer this year (and probably the years to come), adding an A/C might be nice.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is stately from outside, but a bit modest on the inside, however good size of room, clean and very good location: walking distance to the park, near restaurants, and near shops. The late check-in (no reception) was very convenient and efficient. The free WIFI was very good speed, but the television lacked English news channels.

Hotel Sct Thomas is a great option for Copenhagen! Near the Friedriecksberg metro station, the street is quiet and amicable. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very cozy (warm temperatures which help a lot with the freezing cold outside!), with an elevator. The rooms are clean and warm, with a nice bathroom. Breakfast is great too (try the cinnamon cake!). They have a room for you to leave your bags if you wish to visit some more of the city after check out!
I definitely will return when in Copenhagen!

Hello! Sorry I didn't see your question. I am seldom logged in. I wouldn't have known as I never use them myself.

Dear guest
The hotel has an elevator to access the floors from the reception.
To get acces to the hotel and reception level you need go up one flight of stairs.
The same goes for the breakfast area, you need to travel up and down a staircase.
The rooms do not have a mini-bar or a mini-fridge.
There is a fridge in the reception area where you are allowed to store your insulin and access it during the hotels opening hours.
The hotel is app. 5 km from the cruises. By bus takes 30 minutes, by car 15 minutes to get here.
Dear guest,
Thank you for your mail.
The check in is from 14:00 and the reception closes at midnight.
If you experience any delay, please let us know.
Dear Millymolly.
Thank you kindly for the inquiry.
