Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.

Hotel in great location close to Nyhavn and walkable to all main attractions - Little Mermaid, Palaces, Botanic Gardens. We had our daughter with us so room was a bit compact but was clean and tidy. Breakfast was included which is not always the case in Copenhagen and gave

We said at this hotel just last weekend, the location is very good but the hotel is very basic. The room was small but ok, the pillow was really bad because it was extremely flat. The towels were extremely small, I'm 5'10'' and I could barely cover my bum with them. The

Hotel is dated but well looked after, tea and coffee facilities 24/7 downstairs in the dining room. First day there had a lovely lady receptionist that looked after everybody really well, unfortunate that she wasn’t on all the time we were there, as a miserable bloke who did not

I stayed at this hotel during my business trip in Copenhagen. Except good location, I could hardly ever say nice things for the hotel. First of all, my room was too small, I hardly managed to fit in!, still I can't generilaze all rooms, then secondly I felt myself in some very

We are traveling with a 2 year old. Are there cribs, infant beds, or pack and plays available?

Sorry we didn’t need anything like that but I am sure the hotel will arrange something as I did see very young children there. Just remember the rooms are very small

To get from the airport you will need to get a train and then walk about 5 mins. The hotel website gives you details of this. The early checkin is upto the hotel but you can leave your luggage with them and then check in later if they do not have your room ready.

Are there bathtubs as well as showers
No, it was just a shower in our room.

how far was the hotel from the cruise lines? How did you travel to the port?
I traveled by air and then train. Most cruise lines are at Nordhavn, approximately 6 km from the Maritime Hotel and the best way to travel from there is taxi
