This hotel is good for those wanting to stay close to the centre of Copenhagen but not pay for parking. It is a very busy hotel especially at breakfast time. It offers free parking. The train station is just around the corner from the hotel and takes 2 stops to get to Copenhagen central where you can transfer to the metro to get to all the sightseeing places. Since we were here last they have renovated the family rooms and they are modernised and have quite a bit of hanging space. There is air conditioning which works well. The shower is small but water pressure is good and has a hand held shower option. There is no fridge in the room but you can store drinks in a fridge down at reception. There is a great coffee shop very close by called South Harbour cafe. About a 5 minute walk away is a Netto (grocery store) and a Circle K servo across the road which has sandwiches and danishes. If you want to walk about 15 minutes you can jumó directly on the Metro. There is no laundry facilities and I would recommend going to Enghave Plads (metro stop) and using the laundromat (called a Montcask)there. It is clean and easy to access. There is a laundromat listed on google maps close to hotel but it is gross so don’t bother walking to it.

Clean and comfortable hotel with nice breakfast and very friendly staff. They even allowed us to safely park our electric bikes in their luggage room, such that every morning we could bike into the city to explore beautiful Kopenhagen. Cool!

We stayed at the hotel for a week and used it as a base for sightseeing. Although it is definitely not comfortable walking distance from the city centre the transport system is excellent.
The bus stop for the 7A is just across the road and the bus takes you to the Mall (5 mins) and the Central train station (15 mins).
Alternatively the S Train station at Sydnhavn is a 10 min walk and takes 2 stop to get to the Central train station (5 mins).
The easiest way to get from the Airport to the hotel is to take the Metro to the Central station and then change to the S Train to Sydnhavn. This train terminates at Koge and this is the station to look out for on the information screens.
There is an excellent booking office at the Central station where you buy tickets or get information.
On the way out of the Airport there is a lot of ticketing machines to buy City transport passes. We started with a 3 day small city pass costing about £25 each. There is an assistant in the area to help. Worth the money as it gives free rides on buses, metro and S Trains.
Breakfast in the hotel was substantial and sets you up for the day. We snacked at lunchtime and had dinner in the Mall. We used the 7A bus to get there and after our meal we walked alongside a canal into town (1h) and then caught the 7A bus back to the hotel from Central station.
We had two trips away from Copenhagen. One to Lund and Malmo. The other to Kronborg Castle. Bought train tickets from Central station.
The Reception staff at the hotel are extremely helpful, any doubts ask them.

We have had an overnight stay as part of a legers tour before our onward travel.

On arrival, reception is quite large, spacious and clean. Receptionist very helpful.
Finding the rooms can be a bit confusing and instructions were unclear.

Room: we are travelling on our honeymoon and booked for double rooms throughout the tour. Our room beds were an issue. The bed is actually 2 single beds put together with single duvets. They don't even have a hook to join them so overnight a gap forms and you're nearly on the floor. Looking on the website it appears that all the rooms are the same. Whoever thought that was a good idea? 🙈 Although have to say they were comfortable to sleep in. Standard rooms don't have tea/coffee facilities but I think the not premium rooms do.

Food: we had a group meal which I wasn't overly impressed with. First of all, when we got to the tables, the bowls of soup were already laid out before anyone even arrived let alone getting sat down....therefore getting cold. The main meal lacked flavour but wasn't bad. Dessert was an apple cake with cream on top which was nice. They did offer veggie options for those that had requested in advance. There was little engagement from the staff, the dishes just put in front of you but no checks to see if everyone was happy with their meal or if anything else was needed. Overall pretty poor food and service.
The buffet breakfast was ok but not great. Selection of cold and hot options, breads, waffle maker and cereals alongside eggs, bacon, tomatoes, sausages. Tea, coffee and juices available. The hot options I had were cold.

Location: approx 2 miles from city centre. However, located a few mins walk from the train station which gives easy access to the city centre.

As someone that has traveled all over the world and stayed in all kinds of accommodations, this is certainly not the worst I have ever experienced. But definitely not one of the better ones.

Cheap and poor quality food for breakfast. Semi fried fatty bacon chrisp and scrambled eggs with little egg in it.
A dirty and dangerous buffet where 200+ guest must touch the same handles and knifes. Rooms fair but no the and coffee.

I love visiting different Scandic hotels and this met my expectations. Free parking is a must if you come by car. Enough personnel handling the checkin so there were no lines. The rooms were nice and the breakfast held the standard Scandic level. The trainstation was nearby so it was very easy to get to the city center (5 minutes by train).
I recommend this hotel for both business and family trips.

The room looked clean and tidy at first.
But then I found long, dark hair (im blonde and have short hair) in both of the beds. On one of them straight on top of the bed and in the other one under the blanket and under the pillow, also on the bathroom floor.
Then when I wanted to use the waterglass in the bathroom, both of them were REALLY dirty. Not just a fingerprint, more like someone has used them to drink Samarin because the bottom of them were all white.

No, not coming back. Never.
