Located in the heart of Copenhagen’s Latin Quarter, SKT. PETRI is situated in a heritage-listed building designed by legendary Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen. In 2003, the building was transformed into Copenhagen’s first design hotel and in 2016-17, SKT. PETRI underwent an extensive makeover, now offering an urban retreat of laidback luxury in one of the world’s most liveable cities. The hotel offers 288 rooms, of which 26 are suites, and are all equipped with shower and/or bath, toiletries by Frama, air-conditioning, flat-screen TV, minibar and safe. The restaurant and bar is located right in the buzzing centre of the hotel lobby, serving creative culinary bites and signature drinks. Bicycle rental, free WIFI, free fitness and experienced concierge services are offered. Designer boutiques, bookshops, cafés and restaurants as well as major sights, such as the Round Tower, and the airport connected Nørreport Station are located within a few minutes’ walk. SKT. PETRI has been recognized with Condé Nast Traveler's Readers Choice Award 2019 as #3 best hotel in Northern Europe and #1 in Denmark.

We received rooms with window to the lobby although it was not presented in the site. We were asked to upgrade the rooms in order to have a window turns to the street. The upgraded room was very small so we were upgraded the room again. We recieved a very small room with small terrace. The room was old fassion and very poor. Definitely not recommended.

Hotel's Favourite
My husband and I are well--a bit fussy when it comes to hotels. Our friends call my husband "five star". We labored over where to stay in Copenhagen. Upon the recommendation of a friend we booked the SKT Petri. And we are so happy we stayed at this hotel! SKT Petri is truly fantastic. We loved everything about it. The location is wonderful, with great restaurants, coffee shops and lots of nice stores nearby. We walked to everything on our Copenhagen "list"-- never needed a taxi. The hotel is very, very pretty. The lobby with soaring ceilings was beautiful, as was the restaurant area. The staff was warm and welcoming at the front desk, bell desk and in the restaurant. We had breakfast at the hotel daily--and it was one of the best breakfasts ever. My husband and I found everything we needed--he likes his bacon and I like a vegan breakfast and we were both super happy. We ate dinner there one night as well and it was delicious. Our room was great! It wasn't huge but it was nicely laid out--we had plenty of room to move around and there was ample room for the luggage. We were upgraded to a room with a patio which had a lovely view of the surrounding streets. The bed was really comfortable and had my favorite, the split duvet where each person gets their own blanket. Love that! The bathroom was clean and functional, and the shower was nice also--good water pressure and I didn't need a PHD to turn it on. We went on to Amsterdam after Copenhagen, stayed in a five star luxury hotel (for a whole lot more money) and we longed for the SKT Petri. It was so much nicer than the luxury place. Highly recommended!!

I've made the decision of staying at Skt Petri hotel following my trip to Copenhagen and I must say I couldn't have made a worst decision. The reason for saying this is because the first moment I've stepped into the room, I was welcomed by a sewage smell which was coming from the bathroom drains and made my whole stay very unpleasant, especially after speaking with reception about a room move and being told that they don't have any rooms available due to the same reason as mine(people who were welcomed by the same pig coop smell and asked to be moved). So since the reception staff told me that it seems like everyone in that hotel is aware of this problem but still everyone is pretending like it's okay or maybe they are hoping our smell senses are dead. And last but not least, if you really want to be considered a 5 star hotel, you have to make sure that the rooms doesn't smell like a pig coop and the rooms don't look like a 3/3.5 stars while you're charging a 5 star hotel price.

Always an enjoyable stay for many reasons: comfort, attention to detail, notable breakfast, and accommodating staff. I'm sorry it will be under construction for the next year or two and I hope the new owners will retain what is special about the hotel.

l absolutely loved this hotel. the rooms are clean and crisp (loved the pillows and the duvet cover / bedding set up!) and the lounge in the lobby hosts a fantastic breakfast in the morning. nightime in the lounge is very cool...lovely lighting and super chill. the staff if fantastic and helpful. the hotel is located in the heart of Copenhagen... so it was really convenient. yet super quiet. high marks for the great coffee/ cappuccino set up at breakfast... and a very diverse breakfast assortment. i love this hotel and would go back in a heartbeat. highly recommend.

We recently stayed there for 8 nights. The location is excellent. Five minute walk to both Metro and regional trains at Norreport underground. Walkable to most everything. We had breakfast as part of our rate. Ample selection of many fine breakfast foods and drinks, but I did find the eggs less tasty than my American taste buds. Many places to eat at different price points within an easy walk. Felt safe all around Copenhagen and certainly around the hotel. Our room was plenty large with good room to unpack for a 8 day stay. Good blackout curtains and shelf space. The bathroom was first rate, although the tub a bit narrow for showering. Housekeeping did a first rate job every day. This is a bigger, busier hotel than our usual choice of hotel, and seemed to have business groups and small tour groups as guests. That did not detract from our experience and lent itself to some interesting people watching at breakfast. Nevertheless, the staff was very personable and engaging. I needed an ice pack after a fall on cobblestone and it was quickly and graciously provided. I would not hesitate to visit there again.

The hotel is at a walking distance from the downtown. It provides all the luxury one may be looking for. It has a spa with Finnish and Steam sauna + a well equipped fitness facility but it misses a pool. Staff is friendly, overall atmosphere is great.
