Chose this hotel because it was cheaper than most of the other hotels I looked at in central Copenhagen and as I was traveling solo I don't really mind about sharing a bathroom or having a small room as I tend to only sleep in hotels, after reading some of the reviews on here I was surprised to find how...

Old, dirty, smelly and noisy structure. "The apartment" was a single room without space for movement. The bathroom had a central drain in which at open air the shower and the basin water flowed. At arrival we were given only one small towel each. The fridge was so full of ice that could not close and dropped water on the...

it's cheap but you don't have your own shower or even your own toilet and as someone stated before the noise from other rooms might be too much. you'll have to pay 40 Krone per day for wifi and breakfast woiuld cost you 70 Krone and is no more than ok.

I had booked a room at the hotel. The room was not clean and smelled bad. After complaing about the room was not clean. We asked for a different room or to have the room cleaned. Even though they did have a room available they wanted us to pay an additional 200 dollars for another room. The service in the...

I had to stay here for a conference at the university, It is a good location. But the noise from other rooms never stopped. I could not sleep for two nights and became zombie during the conference. It is not value for money at all.

I stayed with 2 friends on a recent football trip. Don't expect the Hilton, it is basic, no kettle, shared bathroom, small room, but for us it was perfect, something cheap and cheerful after a day out with the lads. It was clean, the beds were actually very comfortable and I got a great nights sleep.

We had the suite at the top of the building. It is a nice space, particularly as we were meeting various friends from Copenhagen, it made it possible to entertain in a limited way! The furniture is poor quality, cheap (Ikea style) The kitchen had decent appliances but very poorly equipped with kitchenware not allowing much in the way of...

Didn't expect that much before we arrived. Small rooms with a sink and a place for the suitcase. Easy standard. Clean bathrooms and showers. Every day fix-up in the room, very nice. Clean towels when needed. Location good, quiet and close to the centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Wouldn't mind going back again

I have traveled extensively in Europe, etc. and this hotel had the smallest room I had ever been in by far! The carpet in the room was filthy & had holes and the paint was chipped. You couldn't even open your luggage completely because the room was so small! There was no AC and it was hot even though it was...

I've read alot of bad reports on here and I just want to say my view after a 3 night stay here. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I asked the young girl whats the best way to get to the Zoo and she explained the different ways and told me the best way would be to take the...

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
