I stayed with 2 friends on a recent football trip. Don't expect the Hilton, it is basic, no kettle, shared bathroom, small room, but for us it was perfect, something cheap and cheerful after a day out with the lads. It was clean, the beds were actually very comfortable and I got a great nights sleep.

We had the suite at the top of the building. It is a nice space, particularly as we were meeting various friends from Copenhagen, it made it possible to entertain in a limited way! The furniture is poor quality, cheap (Ikea style) The kitchen had decent appliances but very poorly equipped with kitchenware not allowing much in the way of... More

Didn't expect that much before we arrived. Small rooms with a sink and a place for the suitcase. Easy standard. Clean bathrooms and showers. Every day fix-up in the room, very nice. Clean towels when needed. Location good, quiet and close to the centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Wouldn't mind going back again

I have traveled extensively in Europe, etc. and this hotel had the smallest room I had ever been in by far! The carpet in the room was filthy & had holes and the paint was chipped. You couldn't even open your luggage completely because the room was so small! There was no AC and it was hot even though it was... More

I've read alot of bad reports on here and I just want to say my view after a 3 night stay here. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I asked the young girl whats the best way to get to the Zoo and she explained the different ways and told me the best way would be to take the... More

Extremely good value for money. Room was very clean. Good location, only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Copenhagen. Good out of hours service. We didn't have the breakfast. Hotel staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

Nice small hotel within walking distance from city center of Copenhagen. Easily accessible via the subway from the airport. Rooms are no-nonsense, don't expect luxury, but if you want a budget place to stay in Copenhagen I can recommend this place.

This hotel does not deserve even 1 single star. The rooms are extremely small, which I understand is you get what you pay for, but my main problem here was the way the front desk treated me. We felt a little discriminated by the way she spoke with us (maybe because we are not blond and white) and didn't even... More

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
