Was really pleased with the service, location and cleanliness of the room. It wasn't crowded at all, and I loved the elevator system, it made it seem very well organized. I went by myself and met up with some friends, but if I were by myself it would've been a bit more challenging to meet people compared to other hostels....

Good point first. It was very tidy, clean and organised. On the downside, there are many, including hidden charges (ex: pay for linen), no hand soap in the bathroom (claiming 5-star hostel but can't afford to keep a cheap handwash in the bathroom).

The room is clean and comfort. They should check their heating system because it feels less in the morning. The staff are so kind and nice. Good value of money. The breakfast is recommended as it is in Denmark.

We took a family break to Copenhagen over Christmas and stayed here on the recommendation of a Danish friend. The value was very good in local terms, especially for those travelling next week when they seem to be stopping the practice of charging for sheets and towels on top of the room price. The location us excellent, close to museums,...

Was amazed when we first came to this hostel its upmarket. We had a problem in our first room but we spoke to the guy at reception and he switched our rooms straight away no problem. Close to main attractions and lots of facilities. Would recommend!

Booked room for 2 adults and 2 children. Room was clean and functional. Staff very friendly. Bar great too. Breakfast busy but good value for money. Felt place was secure as key card would only allow you to access your floor. 10 minutes walk from Tivoli. Rooms really warm too which was great in contrast to the cold outside. Free...

The location of Danhostel is fantastic; 10 minutes' walk to Tivoli and the central station. The hostel is modern, spotlessly clean and the bar area offers a lovely view of Copenhagen with drinks and slightly reduced prices (compared to the rest of the city!). All reception and bar staff were brilliant. I would highly recommend this venue for family budget...

everything within walking distance from this hostel which helped save on transportation costs. We had a room for 6 which was clean and spacious. However, the downside would be that there is only one toilet, making it a little troublesome. If you get a room on the high floor, get the one facing Tivoli! You'd have amazing night views!

If you're such a cheap person and decided not to book this hostel then you'll regret it. I love how the doors and the elevators are automated. I just don't get why there's a different key for the kitchen when all guests need to access it from time to time. Location is ok, but I was surprised on how far...

Hello Iamglobalboy, Thanks a lot for taking the time to rate your stay with us - and thanks a lot for the kind words. We are currently working on integrating access for the guestkitchen on the room keycards. So if you come to Copenhagen again some time, this will hopefully be carried out. Also, I will advise guests comming from...

I'm glad I stayed here in the end. Price wise might make you think twice, but considering opportunity cost and comfort etc., this would eventually be the most viable option. Rooms are lovely and spacious, but the best part is the en-suite toilet that is cleaned daily.

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
