My sister and I spent 4 nights at the Urban House in May 2023. The hotel is exceptionally good value for money which is important in an expensive city like Copenhagen. The hotel is literally 3 minutes walk from Copenhagen Central Railway Station which is connected to the airport with regular and frequent trains. We booked a twin room with private bathroom which was a little on the small side and slightly basic but which was spotlessly clean and perfectly adequate, but remember you're not paying luxury prices here. We had a room at the back overlooking the yard and some nearby apartments which suited us fine because it was lovely and quiet with no noise from the street. The only thing we could hear were the seagulls and the distant chimes of a nearby church bell which was lovely. We pre-booked breakfast which was a really good buffet with a huge range of different foods: juices, cereals, meats, cheeses, eggs, salads, fruits, yoghourts, pastries and a wide variety of breads - including my favourite rye bread. There were different coffees available as well as hot chocolate and a variety of teas. The only slight criticism I would make is that the breakfast area can get very crowded and often you need to search around for a table, but we always managed to find a spot. The hotel has a pleasant television room and public areas with washing machines and a small kitchen if you want to prepare your own food. The hotel has a lively bar with evening entertainment and dancing. There is a table with many leaflets and pamphlets with information about the city and nearby, plus the reception staff are very friendly and helpful in providing information. There are a number of reasonably priced restaurants nearby, especially those serving Chinese or Thai food. Overall a very nice stay. …

This place is such a find in Copenhagen. Perfectly located near the central station with supermarkets nearby. We stayed in a triple room which was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. For a very reasonable price it offered a lot in terms of facilities - kitchen, laundry, chill out areas with pool table, TV, table football, etc. The atmosphere was incredible as well, with activities every night - and happy hours to keep the costs down :) If I go back to Copenhagen I will definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 1 night and price quality is this good. Nice vibe, good breakfast and friendly staffel. Rooms, we had a double bed and 2 for children ( we didn't need) Bathroom was clean and big enough for the (Kopenhagen price).

My sister and I went to Copenhagen for a midweek break. We stayed in Urban House Hotel. I have to say it was just a lovely experience, the staff were very friendly and helpful, room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable got the best sleep 💤 even though the room was right next to the street. The breakfast was delicious and lots of variety. Would highly recommend Urban House Hotel

I have just returned from a three night stay at this hotel/hostel and would like to say how brilliant our stay was. The triple room was clean & very comfortable. The breakfast was great as was the vibe in the whole building. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The bar area was brilliant. A lovely positive atmosphere. The happy hour was a great and unexpected feature! The location of the hostel was also very good being so close to the central station. It was also quite easy to walk to all the main attractions in the city and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. I have to admit that I was a bit unsure how I would find staying in a hostel (I am 70!), but I found the whole experience great & did not feel at all out of place and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

Had never stayed in a hostel before, wasn't quite sure what to expect to be honest. Arrived in Copenhagen mid afternoon, found direct train to city centre. Hostel is approx 5 mon walk from Central Station. Had a very quic and easy check in, and into our room on arrival. Went down to the bar area in the evening, was very lively and great atmosphere. Diverse range of travellers around. All the other areas available are in one straight corridor. Nice just to be able to sit in any of those places, without feeling uncomfortable. Made use of the kitchen area a few times too. Breakfast had a good amount of food/choice. No complaints. Had late check out at 2pm, but was able to use the lockers to store our bags and come back for them later. Overall we had a great stay here, and definitely won't hesitate to return next time we come to Copenhagen for sure. …

Only 1 block away from Central Station, a very convenient base to explore the city. Lively atmosphere in the hostel with very friendly staff. Pleasantly surprised by the heated floor in toilet, heater is working well in the room too. Bedding is adequate for a budget hotel, shower is strong and wifi is fast. Sound proofing could be better though. There is a huge restaurant, big lounge area and cheap laundry onsite. Highly recommended for all type of travelers.

Great hostel, had a quad room and was very spacious. Bar downstairs is decent. Location is pretty good. Only complaint would be the shower pressure, but other than that a great hostel - for what you pay I would recommend to anyone staying in Copenhagen.

A great local very close to central station. Easy check in with a smile , very clean room and comfortable bed , loved the healthy breakfast which had the perfect selection for us. Booked two Triple Rooms, but got upgraded to two Quad Rooms - Room 17 and Room 18. PROS: The location is within walking distance to the Central Station and Tivoli Gardens. Our rooms were not located in the main building where you check in, but rather in another building down the block, which made for a super quiet stay. In fact, we did not come across any other guests in our building during the three nights we were there! This building required guests to type in a 5-digit code to enter. Both rooms were clean, but Room 18 was more spacious than Room 17. Wifi was strong and the bathroom contained all the basic amenities (towels, hand soap, all-in-one hair and body wash, hairdryer). Although our rooms were on the first floor, the bottom half of our windows were frosted and curtains were in place so outsiders could not see inside. The two deep window sills in each room provided so much extra shelf space! CONS: The outside door to the building down the block was difficult to close. It does not close and lock automatically when you exit, so we always had to pull it shut and wait until we heard it lock before walking away.…
