Very nice, gracious and helpful couple who have a small, but wonderful house with exquisite garden on their countryside property by Lake Rotorua. The provide their guests with ample breakfast. The mattress on the sleeper sofa is a bit thin, but there is also a folding bed with a thicker mattress. The only downside is the rooster crowing in the...

Beautiful cottage on the north side of Lake Rotorua, a bit outside of town, but not too far. Cottage is very spacious, good bed, lovely breakfast supplied for self serve. Great breakfast spread, loved the freshly home baked bread and pastry. Easy walk to a nearby natural spring. The kids had fun with the animals, particularly Gass the dog. Overall, our family of six had a wonderful relaxing time at Broekhaven.

Very nice farm stay. Comfortable cottage. Friendly owners. Kids got to feed the animals (sheep, chickens, rabbits, hedgehog)--a definite highlight. Close to Rotorua (about 20 minutes), but also away from it.
