I would give the Lydmar a 6 rating if tripadvisor allowed. Stop researching and just book the Lydmar now, I could not recommend this hotel more. Our stay here was absolutely perfect and made for an incredible trip to Stockholm. We booked through Amex FHR...More
We stayed at the Lydmar for 3 nights whilst visiting Stockholm for a long weekend. The hotel is extremely stylish and trendy, with a really nice ‘feel’ to it. Rooms are wonderful, very comfortable and very well appointed. Again, they are stylish with some beautiful...More
Only stayed one night after Abisko and en route back to Hong Kong, what a delight, simply exquisite, this will be our hotel whenever we go to Stockholm next, small and magnificent. Feels like home, breakfast was good, too bad we did not have other...More

Norrmalm is Stockholm’s most central and busiest neighborhood. It’s home to the main shopping street, Drottninggatan, and to Stockholm icons like the Sergels Torg glass obelisk, the famous Hay Market with its Carl Milles sculptures, and the Hötorget Skyscrapers, a sight on every other Stockholm postcard. Norrmalm is also home to Sweden’s most traditional department stores Nordiska Kompaniet and
Åhléns City juxtaposed with Stockholm’s most modern shopping mall, Mood Stockholm. Visitors to this area get to experience the unique Swedish philosophy of protecting cultural heritage while also staying on top of fashion innovation and modern architecture.
