Ahhh! If only more boutique hotels were like the Lydmar Hotel, you wouldn't need your own home! The hospitality that was extended during my 6 night stay at the Lydmar Hotel was the best I've ever encountered. Although it is owned by the neighbouring Grand Hotel, Lydmar has retained it's charm and personality. All the staff were welcoming and at...

We spent 5 nights at the Lydmar Hotel as we explored Stockholm for the first time. In short - this was one of the finest hotels I've ever stayed in. Large, modern rooms, thoughtfully configured, spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and professional and made a first-time visitor very comfortable. The common areas were excellent and the restaurant was great....

Five star! We loved it. We were recommended by friends and I can see why. We were upgraded to the top suite and also had a double for our daughter. Both were amazing, clean, quiet and stylish. All staff were helpful and so welcome. We will be back!

We stayed for two nights and had a superb time. All of the staff were friendly and professional. We dined in the restaurant one night and had a delicious meal with attentive service. I would highly recommend the hotel for its location, quality, staff/service and food....not necessarily in that order. We will definitely stay again when we return to Stockholm.

Wonderfully helpful staff (who can all make an excellent coffee in the morning!). Beautiful interiors and photography up on the wall. The food was really great too - they even went out of their way to seat us on Valentine's day when the restaurant was fully booked.

I'm never entirely sure what to expect when I book a hotel. The photos are never enough to establish a real context for the property or the room. I booked Lydmar for the good reviews and great location. The hotel exceeded my expectations: the hotel staff was welcoming, helpful, and kind. The building itself is beautiful, with beautifully decorated and...

We found this place by searching for nice places in Trip Advisor. And the excellent reviews were absolutely true. Our room was incredible. The decoration fascinating and nice. And it was so quiet which is very important for us. The restaurant is excellent too, the food delicious. The wine, however, was good but could have been even better, I think....

This is a lovely boutique hotel with a terrific friendly and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and kind. The hotel is well laid out with lots of different places to sit and have your tea or a drink. The restaurant is delicious and the bar offers innovative cocktails and a nice selection. The location is convenient and the view...

This is a lovely “Cool” hotel in a great Location. Great staff and uber helpful, nothing is too much trouble and the Food and Beverage is limited but very good. Very nice breakfast and a nice vibe in the bar in the evening. This is now 50% owned by the Grand Hotel (next door) so you have free access to...

Fantastic hotel in a really very pleasant city. My wife, 18 month old daughter and I had the pleasure of staying in the Lydmar Hotel for 3 nights last week. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel extremely welcome and we're treated like old friends. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed,...
