I just completed a 2 week trip to Sweden. We really enjoyed our stay at the Lydmar hotel. It was quaint. The rooms were spacious. The staff was amazing. They couldn't do enough for us. The location is great. Easy walking distance to all the sites.

If you belong to the group of people that like real five star hotels Lydmar is probably not the place for you. The hotel is located right next to Grand Hotel in the center of Stockholm in an old house that has been restored while preserving most of the old features. The style is relaxed, the furnishings casual and hip...

Perfect boutique hotel, great location, lovely staff. One of the best hotels we've experienced. If you can stay here on your way through Stockholm. It's all about style, but they're incredibly welcoming, and our young family (9 and 11) loved it. They're happy to arrange extra beds for the kids in the bigger ones. Breakfast was amazing with a range...

As part of the SLH chain this hotel doesn't disappoint. Hotel has lots of character with interesting art everywhere you look. I had a lovely room (301) that had sweeping views across the water. Room had all you needed with nice touches - nespresso / dressing gown etc. Bed was very comfortable and although bathroom was compact it was ideal...

Two night stay at the Lydmar. Wow, Stockholm is a beautiful city and the Lydmar is a perfect example of Stockholm's style and sophistication. Subtle and professional service throughout the hotel, beautifully styled rooms and a relaxing vibe from every corner of this hotel. Well worth a stay. Viva Stockholm!

If we could give this hotel more than 5 stars, we would! The staff, from the front desk to those who work the breakfast/restaurant, to the young man who watches the hotel after hours, all are very professional, friendly and always with a smile. Everyone's very accommodating and willing to help with whatever you may need. The room we had...

Stayed here recently for three nights. The hotel is situated sandwiched in between the Grand Hotel & National Museum (which is currently closed due to refurbishment). Classy decor in reception/ restaurant areas and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was light but a little on the small size (as it was our first visit to Stockholm we...

Ahhh! If only more boutique hotels were like the Lydmar Hotel, you wouldn't need your own home! The hospitality that was extended during my 6 night stay at the Lydmar Hotel was the best I've ever encountered. Although it is owned by the neighbouring Grand Hotel, Lydmar has retained it's charm and personality. All the staff were welcoming and at...

We spent 5 nights at the Lydmar Hotel as we explored Stockholm for the first time. In short - this was one of the finest hotels I've ever stayed in. Large, modern rooms, thoughtfully configured, spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and professional and made a first-time visitor very comfortable. The common areas were excellent and the restaurant was great....
