Don't be put off by the rather tall slim frontal appearance - almost as if it had squeezed into the space left by its enormous neighbour the Grand Hotel. Once inside, the hotel is like the tardis and our room which faced the waterway at the rear of the hotel was quiet, nicely furnished, spotlessly clean and with a very...

The Lydmar Hotel is like the cool, European uncle of the W Hotel but with a more classical style and a subtle sense of humor. The hotel is right on the water, a block away from the delicious B.A.R. Restaurant and 5 minutes walk from the best parks and museums in Stockholm. Last, but not least - the breakfast at...

This hotel is in a great location. It is a small boutique hotel that has a lot of charm. Room was very quaint with interesting items. Hotel is clean and staff is very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. We also had dinner one night and it was superb. Highly recommend.

Lovely modern boutique hotel in a great location, convenient to walk everywhere. Just next to the Grand Hotel (which is looking rather worn) with privileges to their spa and fitness center (which are nice, though a bit outdated). Our room was beautifully appointed, very comfortable sitting area. I will say though that the bed was saggy, so we did not...

the location just right to have Glam Stan and shopping in walking distance. The Hotel a great surprise, in an old building with high ceilings they have created a home ! Books, flowers and art are in the public part as well as in the room. Our room a large corner room to the side street had no view but...

We booked a superior room on the 4th Floor. I see from some reviews that other rooms may have a noise problem, but our room on the northeast side of the hotel was very quiet. Lots of space with a huge bathroom and separate WC. Elegantly furnished; partly modern and partly turn of the century. The wifi was very good....

Everything is very nice. Except the very loud music straight down the window won't stop even after midnight. This is unacceptable. This noise level would definitely make a bad impact on your day life as I already have this awful bass sound stuck in my head and this is making me very snappy. Would not recommend if you are a...

We stayed here for 4 days prior to our Baltic cruise. The room was ready when we arrived at 11am - what a wonderful surprise. The room was beautifully decorated and the the bathroom was perfect. The Lydmar breakfast is great and the waitstaff was warm and friendly. The hotel is perfectly located for walking all over Stockholm - we...

Active outdoor bar - a little disconcerting at first - but not a problem. Nice people, just enjoying the good weather and fresh air. There is a lovely Terrace Bar and restaurant on 2nd floor - not at all noisy. Room was beautiful and spacious!

After many visits, the Lydmar is our home away from home in Stockholm—an intimate gem of a hotel in one of the world’s most beautiful cities, and certainly one of the most uniquely stylish properties anywhere. The Lydmar is a beacon of beauty and taste in a city awash in it. After wading through a crowd of maddeningly attractive Stockholmers...
