we tried to save USD 10/night and got the private bathroom that was not connected to the room. This turned out to be room #16. The location was very close to the lobby so not much privacy coming and going. Room was clean, big and spacious but bunk bed had nasty squeak first night. Next night pushed up against wall....

Clean and quiet. I liked the no-alcohol rule. Awesome kitchen facilities, it had two big fridges and a freezer. I found the room a little bit warm. Maybe to have fans available will be a great improvement.

Location great - close to a metro station and price very reasonable so can't really complain in an expensive city such as Stockholm. Beds were comfy enough and room nice and clean. Will stay again if go back to Stockholm.

The hostel does a very good job and letting you know that this not for partiers. It's quiet, very clean, and easy to get to. It's a 5 minute train ride to the city center and there are a lot of great places to shop, eat, and buy groceries within blocks of the hostel. Note...it's not open from 8am -...

Clean and well equipped kitchen with two stoves, two fridges, two dishwasher and a fridge. Clean room and bathroom with shower, nicely tiled. Bunkbed with a rather awkward stair to the upper bed..! 300 m to walk to the subway which takes you to the city or the central train station in a couple of minutes. Big COOP store 400...

Stockholm is just another great city which has so many expensive hotels with rooms of a shoe box size. For me, it is important to get a private bathroom, so I usially avoid booking in hostels, but this one is different. Very clean, conveniently and centrally located, has rooms with private bathrooms. Of course the room is quite basic, but...

I stayed here with some friends last week for a few nights and we had a really great time. The whole hostel was extremely clean, quiet, well located near to metro station and city center; the room not so big but nice and warm. There is also a common area, with a big kitchen practical to cook and eat. Free...

Staying in Kungsholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Kungsholmen
Kungsholmen is one of the largest islands in central Stockholm and one of the most popular places to live. Its most famous attraction is Stockholm’s City Hall, which stands out with its monumental architecture and is one of the most photographed buildings in Sweden. Kungsholmen has its own little city center and shopping mall, its own beach and a lovely pedestrian area next to the water, which charms both locals and visitors with beautiful little cafés, restaurants and of course an awesome view. This neighborhood is perfect for a relaxed stroll followed by some coffee on a Sunday afternoon.
