A great small hotel situated on wonderful Strandvägen. Room was spacious with beautiful furniture very personal decoration, felt more like being in a personal Swedish home. Very calm and easy to reach city center and all the museums. Very friendly staff and the common sitting area as breakfast room are done with taste and swedi furniture. Gladly recommend this hotel

Hotel Esplanade is a very cozy hotel. The location could not be better. It's located on the waterfront at Strandvägen close to numerous eating places and also close to the major shops. Breakfast is very good and all the staff are very friendly.

This hotel was just lovely to stay in. The customer service was 100% as it should be, fast friendly and efficient. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but enough for anyone who is remotely fussy. No need to bring shampoo and shower gel as they provide you with good quality stuff. In quite a central location too which...

Check in was fast and the two women at the front were so friendly and helpful. Our room is small, but we ordered a small room. It is big enough and has a lot of charm. The location is great, on the water. Wonderful ful breakfast included and they even have tea/ coffee and cookies and muffins in the afternoon....

When Stockholm renewed the facade of östermalm's wharf more than a hundred years ago, they build the nobel houses of the Strandvägen like a Parisienne Avenue. One of those kindly preserved buildings is now Hotel Esplanade. Outside and inside you feel the charming old times. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and in a good state....

This hotel is very strategically l located on one of the most "fashionable" streets in Stockholm. The room was comfortable, without any frills but clean and included "what you need". The interior tries to mirror the "epoque" of the building and quite far from what you might call Scandinavian design, but it fits! Nevertheless, the room was quite noicy, hearing...

This is a small hotel with great location at "Strandvägen" in the posh area (Östermalm) of Stockholm. From here you are close to almost everything in the city: shopping, Skansen, museums, Djurgården etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

WE booked this through Hotels.com or bookings.com using some points we had accumulated so we got a big discount on one of our two nights. We checked the website and booked a Superior Double room (see photo from the hotel wespace.bsite). It says this room has furniture designed by Josef Frank, for sleeping working and relaxing, some with balconies facing...
