This is a well known hotel with a rich history. The hotel's location is excellent, well situated to major sites. It over looks water on 2 sides. The front staff were excellent: friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. The room was good, but not exceptional for a...More
Hotel is well-located and nice enough at first glance. Then there were the BLOOD-STAINED SHEETS AND DUVET. Went by the front desk and asked them to replace asap (b/c... gross). A hint of apology for using sheets stained by a prior guest, but that's all....More

My favorite hotel in Stockholm. Lovely spa with great variety of services on offer. Hotel feels modern. Rooms are spacious and bed is really comfortable. One of the best hotel bars in Stockholm. Great central location. This was gets my recommendation for Stockholm.
Grand hotel is a beautiful old hotel at a great location and a very friendly staff. That was the positive part. The rooms are small, the interior is oldish, the cleanliness is not ok and climate controll does not work. I was there in the...More
Norrmalm is Stockholm’s most central and busiest neighborhood. It’s home to the main shopping street, Drottninggatan, and to Stockholm icons like the Sergels Torg glass obelisk, the famous Hay Market with its Carl Milles sculptures, and the Hötorget Skyscrapers, a sight on every other Stockholm postcard. Norrmalm is also home to Sweden’s most traditional department stores Nordiska Kompaniet and
Åhléns City juxtaposed with Stockholm’s most modern shopping mall, Mood Stockholm. Visitors to this area get to experience the unique Swedish philosophy of protecting cultural heritage while also staying on top of fashion innovation and modern architecture.

The property does allow non-hotel guests to purchase access to the gym/pool/spa area. Cost changes with membership type and length. It was not inexpensive, but the facilities are wonderful - no pain, no gain!

Yes, you can. I did a month ago! If you have already left, I hope they can help you anyway if you call or write to them. The pillow I bought came flat, so they take out what extra air they can. I love this pillow, never har better. Expensive, though, but worth it. The bedlinen is also expensive, but a great comfort :). Enjoy!
