This hotel is full of character, with lots of memorabilia throughout, also in the rooms, which makes it feel like you are staying in someone's home, rather than in a hotel. It is right in the centre of Gamla Stan, which is perfect for walking...More
We booked this hotel because we wanted to stay in Gamla Stan the oldest part of the city with the Royal Palace and catedral only around the corner from the hotel.
The accommodation was beautiful, clean with an excellent breakfast included in the price. Not...More
This place is a bit pricy for its standard. You pay for the excellent location, charm and friendliness.
The interior is full of countryside folklore things, and the furniture is the kind you find at your Grandma's. Various things, not one room looks like the...More
We enjoyed our stay there, thanks to the friendly service provided by the staff. The best was the breakfast lady - she baked, served and cleaned up all by herself! Unbelievably efficient, and friendly at the same time! Her crackers were certainly out of this...More

Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting: take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
alleys, which will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This neighborhood offers a great combination of historical buildings and traditional Swedish restaurants.

A normal walk from Arlanda express is about 15 minutes. If you have a lot of luggage maybe a cab is to prefer.
We are looking forward to have you as our guest!
