We spent two days in meetings at Hasselbacken and it is a good place to be, but nothing impressive. The classical halls with high ceilings, mirrors and curtains gives you the feeling of coming to an old palace. We enjoyed the Christmas Party buffet in the evening at Hasselbacken and it is very Swedish and good. Herrings in different shapes... More

Absolutely perfect hotel for all kind of activities in Stockholm and especially for all the amusement at the island of Djurgarden. Skansen, Grona Lund, the Abba museum, Cirkus, Aquaria all within less than five minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms are good, nothing special but clean and relatively spacious. Breakfast great, a lot of choices and plenty of space... More

Nice hotel, friendly staff, fine room. Everything was excellent. We stayed at the hotel because we were going to the Mamma Mia! The party. It was only a couple of minutes to walk fraom the hotel to the show. Perfect!

The concierge at this hotel was of great assistance even though we were not guests. We were just off the Viking Star cruise ship and had a flight home the next day, but wanted to see the Vasa Museum near the Hasselback. The concierge stored our luggage in her locked storage room. This allowed us to tour the museum, pick... More

Scandic Hasselbacken has so much going for it, with a beautiful old building and the glorious Djurgården park which surrounds it. You're almost on the water, with its grand views of Stockholm, and steps from the lovely, quirky, Nordic Museum, as well as Skansen, the Vasa Museum, the Gröna Lund amusement park and the ABBA Museum. Nearby buses and trams... More

This nice little hotel on the island of Djurgården is, in fact, walking distance from many of Stockholm's main sights. While being practically bucolic. In summer, you can actually swim in the Baltic minutes from the hotel, and you can walk under century old trees to relax from the bustling city. A little public transport ferry takes you to the... First of all, the hotel is in excellent location for the families - just next to the Skansen, where our toddler was absolutely ecstatic to play. In general the hotel is fine, however I have two not very favorable comments. I was travelling alone with my child - tired, with a big suitcase in one hand, stroller in the second,... More

I think this hotel would have been magnificent in its heyday but unfortunately not anymore. It is a shame but it has been left rather neglected and needs upgrading. With a little bit of money it could once again be fabulous. We were travelling as a couple for the weekend and got a good deal from Booking.com. We tend not... More

Dear Guest. Thank you for your review of Scandic Hasselbacken. As you write we are very popular with families during summer and weekend due to the fact that we are very close to Tivoli Gröna Lund, Abba The Museum, Skansen and Junibacken. If you ever come back to Stockholm with kids then you know whee to stay. More
