Very quiet and very clean rooms. No sheets and always two duvets even in a big queen size bed instead of one but that is the Swedish way in every hotel I stayed in...unfortunately. Besides that very good cocktails at the bar and always a taxi to wait for you in front of the hotel. Great service and an ok...

I stayed at Hilton with my girlfriend for a romantic weekend in Stockholm, and also to celebrate my birthday. I can't believe how awful the service was. At the arrival the people at the desk didn't seem to be happy to see us, it felt like we were disturbing them. Later at the evening we went down from our room...

For the business traveler as well as the recreational tourist, Hilton Slussen is a great place to stay. It is ideally situated in the heart of Stockholm, within easy walking distance to Old Town. Rooms are spacious, service is great, and staff are always helpful.

We stayed on the second floor of building 3. I'd advice others to avoid this building. The rooms seems like they were renovated some time in the late 80's. They are noisy and rather small for a Hilton. Staff is friendly and nice, but the buildings (all of them) really should get renovated...

This was a decent Hilton. We got a very large room with two separate areas which was perfect for keeping our little one in her crib. The bathroom was large. The living area had nice views as did the bedroom. The location was good. you have to walk through some construction but not a huge deal. Breakfast excellent and the...

We had a wonderful time at the Hilton Slussen. As a HHonors guest we were able to access the executive lounge, which put on a great spread of refreshments. The cost of wine is quite high for those of you that enjoy the more affordable prices in the US. I would encourage you to pick up a bottle of wine...

Having arrived in the morning it was disappointing to have to wait until 3pm for check in, especially as we had a two year old with us although we took the opportunity for a walk and lunch. In spite of asking to be made aware of our rooms availability we had to twice remind the check in staff to keep...

Stayed in this hotel for the first time.Close to many interesting points to visit. Check in was efficient, fast en very friendly. Check out was efficient, fast but very cool. Anyway, the fresh lobby area is very welcoming. Fine room, good linen, normal Hilton standard, for me the only "setback"was to find the shower in the bathtub, a bit difficult...

Hard to believe this is a Hilton. The room we had, an upgrade, was tiny. It did have a great harbor view, we had no room cleaning service for three days, despite calling and finally going down (to stand in line with other requesters) I finally got some clean towels. Forget air conditioning. The concierge only works from 9:00 to...

Staying in Slussen

Neighbourhood Profile
Slussen
A unique mix of grotesque 1960s concrete urban vision and cosy historical Swedish brick houses, Slussen has become one of Stockholm’s most architecturally edgy and controversial neighborhoods. Plans to rebuild the area have been on the agenda for decades, however, so far no agreement could be reached, which is the reason for the continuing decay of its brutalist substance. Nevertheless, the museums and the main shopping street, Götgatan, attract both locals and tourists with Sweden’s most fashion-forward clothing retailers, hipster coffee shops and restaurants. Once the lights are out, the area turns into a bustling nightlife haven, catering to all preferences, from posh hotel bars to sweaty underground nightclubs. There is no better place to experience the clash between old and new Sweden.
