Very pleasant experience! We had booked a superior room over new year’s that was upgraded to a junior suite which was really nice! Great location, great staff and the hotel was clean and tidy. Good breakfast buffet which was open until 11 o’clock. The hotel has a nice gym with all the equipment you need for a quick workout.
No heating in room, toilet broke the first day, maintanace took 1,5 hours to arrive. Water had then been spewing onto the floor and I had to clean up myself as the cleaning personel were buisy. Tiny bathroom. Room had no shelves in which to put clothes, few hangers, entire colour palette on walls was concrete gray. Heavy fan-system coming from outside. A real struggle with de-magnetizing key cards and no key-card holder. One of the elevators is seriously shaky and stops between upper floors. Be aware! Some of the gym equiptment is out dated, one was broken and the other downright unsafe. Music at the gym is deafening and can't be changed, so if you like to cool down with anyhing but tecno, be prepared to do that somewhere else. Noise cancelling headphones will not do the trick here. The only vegetarian option at the restaurant during my stay was a twist on the Jerusalem artichoke, famously rich in inulin thus earning the nickname "farti-choke" when not cooked properly. I did not order it again. Breakfast. Soggy eggs, dry bread and stale cheese - salad, fruit and vegetables were "for the staff only" - and so had to get it from them. I mean... Location is not so good. "Everything" is within 30-40 minutes walking distance. This is one of the most expensive areas of Stockholm. The only plus were the staff at front desk and restaurant. They were incredibly professional and generous with their time, inclusive and attentive, animal lovers. skilled and fun to be around, with the exception of the front desk manager, she was cold like stone, rude even. There were no serious Covid-mesures implemented at this hotel as they abide by current rules given the municipality. I for one will not return as there is a hierarchical system here that is very evident to the watchful eye: Hence the little things that makes any hotel special or even great, are simply missing.…
I was treated very well by all the hotel staff. I stayed on the seventh floor, in a suite with a beautiful view. The suite was very comfortable, the bathroom floor was heated. I found it super nice The breakfast was delicious and very varied! 5 stars for me and I will be back as soon as I return to Stockholm
We got transfered to thos hotel as the one we were booked in had closed for refurbishment . Glad we were . Very friendly and helpful staff . The hotel is of a very good standard with clean good sized rooms and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in . We had breakfast included in our booking and it offered a varied choice to suit all tastes . We had a very early checkout when we left and they had kindly put together a breakfast takeaway for us . The hotel is within walking distance to the city centre and its attractions . Would definately use again if we returned to Stockholm
The desk staff here calmly sorted us out (and calmed us down) when our origional hotel was shut, when out flights got changed (twice) and when we needed a 5am taxi. Nothing was too much trouble, professional yet friendly and welcoming. The restaurant manageress on our first night was happy to chat about Sweden with us and all the associated staff were approachable and helpful. Spotlessly clean and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Breakfast had lots of dairy free options.
