Didn't know what to expect but turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable 2-night stopover. It even has a small museum!

Plus: Location is excellent in the city centre, reachable by bus with a 400-meter walk. Room is extremely small with no view due to the original cell windows being high up at the ceiling, bed very good and pillow excellent, bathroom the same size as...More

The greatest thing about this hotel is that it's on such an interesting island with great views and a maze of trails around the shore line and through the rocky areas and vegetable gardens. The second best thing is the terrific breakfast - and the...More

If you love having a drink by the sea right on the beach (and who doesn’t?) Hornstull & Långholmen should be on top of your list. The area was recently redeveloped and now not only offers artsy bars and edgy restaurants but also a post-modern shopping mall complex for urban retail therapy. Hornstull belongs to the more established and sophisticated neighborhoods in Stockholm and is the typical place where you’ll
find Swedish dads meeting for a latte during their paternal leave, or where local office workers meet up at the art cinema for a drink or a movie after work. The beaches in Hornstull and Långholmen are popular destinations for barbeques and sunbathing during the summer. Bring sunscreen.
