Neighbourhood
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.

This hotel is close to a bus stop from the airport. We found the staff were very friendly and helpful. Perhaps would have preferred to be closer to the centre of Stockholm: three blocks walk and a number of stations on the metro. The bathroom was small and leaked water. onto

From the Odenplan substation, it's about a ten minute walk to the hotel. The subway trains is actually a good way to get around and you can get a day pass tickets etc. It's a great city. Enjoy.

until how late is breakfast served?
I think it was 10am, but it would be best to rather send them an email to confirm.

Hi Rita, There are regular buses (every 10 mins). You pay 99SEK if you buy your ticket online. I think its slightly more expensive if you buy your ticket at the terminal. You will take the bus that goes to Stockholm City Centre, however if you staying at Elite Palace Hotel you need to jump off at "Na Stationsgatan". As Crofterland mentioned, you can easily ask the bus driver. We would advise using the Metro when travelling around Stockholm. The metro is simple and efficient.
