Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.

The airport bus stops just outside the Hotel which is a little north of the city centre. This is a good location to discover Stockholm. Very friendly staff, all spoke english and very willing to help with information and recommendations. The breakfast was included in our rate,

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to write a review and I am glad to hear you had a pleasant visit at Elite Palace Hotel! Don't stock up to much on breakfast, the lunch is just as nice! :) I apologise for the disturbance at front desk, we are renovating our lobby and adding a lobby bar! You have to come back and experience it!

When traveling by car in Stockholm this hotel is perfectly located close to the city center but easy for parking. We are a family of four and got a spacious room with two double beds (other bed was a sofa bed). The beds were not the most comfortable, but good. The pillows were

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We have a garage just below the hotel that you can conveniently reserve a parking spot during your visit. We have just added chargers for electric cars if one should happen to come with such a car. I hope we get an opportunity to welcome you back to Elite Palace Hotel!

So not usually one to write a review while I'm still at the hotel, but last nights check in was not what I'm used to from this hotel. Booked a deluxe "Double" for this stay, but on entering the room I find it's a twin (two single beds). Back to reception to ask them to change

The hotel is in a very distant area. So even if it was a Friday, after 01:00 o’clock everything nearby is closed. They had a really nice breakfast though. The room had a nice size, nothing special. High standard in the whole but if you want to see the city for a good

We stayed in this hotel on the first night of our relocation to Sweden. The room was very big - a welcomed advantage considering the amount of luggage we had - with a comforatble king-size bed. Added bonus, as we arrived lateish and quite tired, was the pub/restaurant just next

From the Odenplan substation, it's about a ten minute walk to the hotel. The subway trains is actually a good way to get around and you can get a day pass tickets etc. It's a great city. Enjoy.

I think it was 10am, but it would be best to rather send them an email to confirm.

Hi Rita, There are regular buses (every 10 mins). You pay 99SEK if you buy your ticket online. I think its slightly more expensive if you buy your ticket at the terminal. You will take the bus that goes to Stockholm City Centre, however if you staying at Elite Palace Hotel you need to jump off at "Na Stationsgatan". As Crofterland mentioned, you can easily ask the bus driver. We would advise using the Metro when travelling around Stockholm. The metro is simple and efficient.
