This old beamed village pub in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside offered great food and comfortable accommodation. The relaxed and friendly service made our short stay really enjoyable while mixing business in Worcester with pleasure in the countryside. The Manager, Jon was always on hand to ensure we had everything we needed, in fact he seemed to work 24/7!!! The new...

If you are looking for a small country pub to stay with character and atmosphere in a quiet village then look no further. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in a very comfortable bed in a sensibly sized en suite room with all the facilities required for a short stay. However like a lot of the old buildings...

Stayed for 1 night. Excellent customer service! Thanks John! Food was lovely too. We stayed in Room 2, comfortable beds, lovely big bathroom. Lighting could be improved especially when trying to do makeup 😉

What an awesome pub! There was a little waiting but I'd rather that the mass produced food, and as the food was good, it was worth it! Service was grand, food was lovely and the pub is amazing. We're only here for a week but I think we'll be back before we go! Thank you

We visited here last weekend upon a recommendation from a nearby glamping site. We were not disappointed. We were met by Jon (the Manager) who gave us such a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble for him. I had a gluten free request and he ensured that everything was perfect for us. He gave our girls colouring paper...

A great little pub with a lovely atmosphere. Good food and service too. Fish and chips and steak offer was great, making it a great find with a groupon deal. Nice to go to a small local pub and have it full with people. Def will return with friends and family again very soon.

Stayed 2 nights here on a trip down memory lane, and chose to stay at the pub because it was the best local option. In fact it exceeded expectations, not least because of the food which was a cut above the normal pub fare, imaginative and well prepared. The room was a bit quirky, but hey it's a pretty old...

This was a second visit for myself and first for my family . Excellent food. Four of us had the Sunday roast with veg (which was plentiful) and one had the pasta bake which was a huge portion. As we had just finished a long walk, we all had three courses. I can personally recommend the chicken pate, roast beef...
