Park Hotell Linköpings Fawlty Towers is a three-star hotel in central Linköping, we have a long history which stretches back to 1888. The hotel was built when the railroad came to Linköping and has been a hotel ever since. We have cosy enviroment with a lot of old fashioned furnishing, but we still have a modern comfort level. We put a lot of effort into our service and our mould of the hotel. We offer free parking, wifi and access to a fitness center for all our guests, we also have complimentary coffe and tea in our restaurant which is available 24/7.

Access to the train was a major attraction, however, we were there by car and the parking was scarce. Al’s, they had NO ELEVATOR which is not helpful trying to drag luggage up stairs for an elderly couple.

If you are tired of the classic standard hotels like the big corporate hotels, then choose this one. It is personal, with a fantastic decoration and the service is exactly that personal as you can expect from a family owned hotel. The breakfast isn't the biggest one, but it has everything you need and the scrambled eggs are really great, made of real eggs.

This is our second stay here and just as good as last time a couple of years ago. The staff are very friendly and hard working. Rooms are clean and well equipped although a bit shabby chic. Breakfast is very adequate but the forks are tiny and the spoons huge! We had no trouble parking on the hotel site.

The name of the hotel lies. It’s nothing like its namesake. The staff is friendly, rooms are bright and clean, and your money is well spent here. Breakfast was the main downer, but ...it’s Sweden and you can’t expect a lot.

PROS The city-centre location opposite the railway station is excellent and the hotel itself is nice in a quirky way; after all it is called Fawlty Towers :-). The room was small but fresh and clean with a newly renovated bathroom and had everything required. Comfy bed and pillows. A nice touch was fans placed in the corridor that you could bring with you into the room as Sweden had a record breaking heat wave. CONS Booking.com and the hotel had widely diverging information on reception opening hours so I had to wait a while before being let into the hotel. The room I was first checked into had not been cleaned, but that was just an honest mistake. No elevator. The breakfast could have offered a bit more choice and it would have been good to be able to get some food and drinks upon arrival. The MyCloud WiFi service was very unreliable and kept switching on and off and was also blocked on some sites so ended up mostly using 4G.

My family and I had a comfortable stay at Linkoping's Fawlty towers! Location was perfect, as we were travelling to our other destinations by train, and the train station was literally across the road from Linkoping Fawlty towers. Quaint room with decoration, very clean. There was a small mishap with the rooms as we had ordered a family room but only 1 bed was made up. However a member of staff came round soon after and converted the couch into a bed!

Homeley feel. The rooms are warmly decorated. There is no air conditioning in the rooms but they have a very friendly offer for electric fans that you can pick up and return. Good breakfast, clean room and very near to the train station. Friendly staff. They do their best to make guests feel home, which I really appreciate. Wifi not working very well. you have to be in the public areas to get good access. Sound proofing is minimal point, as you can hear your neighbors taking a shower .No elevator, quite uncomfortable when you have luggage that you ave to drag upstairs.

Comfortable stay within walking distance to sights. Nice outside patio overlooking the parkway for coffee, reading, and conversation. Parking on-site. Interesting decor and historical feel. Reasonably-sized rooms and bed.

This is a different hotel. Obviously inspired by the TV series Fawlty Towers, it has an unusual interior decoration (piano, moose heads and a suit of armor in one of the stairs). The rooms are alright. Cosy in a special way. Kind of personal. One of the TV channels constantly show scenes from Fawlty Towers. Service is excellent, breakfast is nice, and they have good bikes to rent for free when you stay at the hotel. Right across the street is a well equipped gym that is also included in the stay.
