Hilma Winblads Bed & Breakfast is located within Linköping Old Town's open-air museum area. It features a spacious garden and bright, modern rooms. Each room includes a cable TV, free WiFi and free toiletries. Breakfast is including in the price and is served in the property's old-fashioned coffee house, Dahlbergs café, which is located 50 metres away. There is a big parking area that belongs to Linköping Old Town's open-air museum area. It cost 50 SEK each day.
My family had 3 different rooms in this charming place. The B&B is clean, comfortable and transports you back to the Swedish past. We loved to stroll around the "old town" and had a great breakfast in the "town" café.

+ Located in Old Linköping close to the citycenter, the house is over a hundered years old, quiet and calm area + Bikes to borrow for free and well working wi-fi + Nice breakfast in an old café 50 meters from the room - A bit dusty under the bed and the garbage can was not emptied - 1,85 meters from floor to ceiling

Embedded in the Linköping museum village, the B+B can afford to overprice its comfortable rooms, but at the price level one would also expect a more than average breakfast. This is not the case. You are offered a very ordinary breakfast in the nearby restaurant. The quality of bread is less than low and cheese is tasteless , müsli of industrial quality and we had to tell the staff every time basic things such as milk was missing. Winblad's should look over the breakfast and offer free parking and might then go from average to very good

We stayed here for 2 nights with our creative team / aka MOOV.eu ... We really enjoyed this nice place. I even use a “bobble bath” in my room. This is really cool experience to stay here and feel like “Spring in Bullerbyn”

Stayed in Anna room. Very quaint and dainty room. Heated toilet is perfect for the cold night. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet environment in the evening after musuem is closed at 5pm. Check in was easy and done at the cafe itself so don't walk to the B&B straight away as there's no one there but a locked door. A distance to walk from carpark to cafe, which was chargeable at 40kr for 24hrs. Breakfast was sufficient - fruits, cold cuts, cheese, pastries, cereals, yoghurt, milk, coffee and many types of tea!

I loved this place! Situated in an outdoor museum area, an old town center how it looked about 100 years ago. So pittoresque. I arrived late and did not find my room, but I called and got very good directions in a friendly happy way from the owner. My room was newly renovated and really nice. Big room, with a seating area and a very comfortable double bed. Many small thoughtful details, like a shelf on the side of the bed for phone/glasses, electric sockets underneath so you can charge your phone etc. Chocolate in a little bowl (lovely!) on the coffee table, and a water heater so you can make coffee or tea. Even milk in the fridge. No desk if you need to work, but I think in this place you should try to relax. Really balm for a stressed mind. Breakfast selection was quite enough for me. I visited during low season, so we were only four guests for breakfast. Next time I will make sure I have the time to stroll around the area in daytime.…

I loved this place. Its in a museum district, a kind of "Pioneer Village". The rooms are in a renovated historical building. Everything around here is beautiful, historic, quaint. The breakfast is in a nearby cafe which is also totally beautiful and quaint. Breakfast was great!!! European-style breads, fruit, eggs, yogourt, cheese, etc. Also the B&B is very flexible about payment. I needed to leave a day early. No problem. (Try doing that with booking.com!!!). They even said they could email me and I would pay later (??!). The room is beautiful. The price is reasonable. I'd definitely recommend it. I'm not sure if they have a room suitable for a family, but kids would love the area and the museum attractions. I was also able to rent a bike in downtown (ask at the tourist office). There is a small kitchen for use of guests as well.…

Linköping's old town is an enchanting place, worth staying there if you are in the area, a place with own character, and Hilma's is beyond any doubt a part of it. The rooms are nicely decorated, and the café and bakery connected to the B&B is possibly the best in the area. Just behind the house hosting the B&B, a small lovely garden. You are in Linköping but it feels like being miles away from any city or town. The price is OK, all considered. We were given the sole remaining room, on the ground floor. I was a bit concerned about the security - the old town is quite a special place, yet the real town is just around. The doors were provided with safety locks but a window could easily be broken. However, the sole annoyance was a jumping child on the upper floor in the late afternoon. But the night was totally silent - and the beds quite comfy. The owners are very kind and surely capable of keeping up the standard. We will have to go back to Linköping again in the future, and we think we shall stay there again.…

1 night with family had a room with an extra bed. Both room and double bed very small. Breakfast was extremely restricted in choices. The B&B is located in Gamla Linköping, and this place is absolutely "dead" after 17:00. All over this so called B&B is highly overpriced, and I would certainly not stay here again.

This was a pleasant overnight stop on our way from Växjö to Stockholm. We had a comfortable upstairs room for two people. There is a shared small kitchen with a couple of stools. Very quiet. We wandered after all the crowds went home, which made the setting more enjoyable.
