We arrived by car at 10 pm, called the number at reception door. Nice friendly man arrived in few minutes after our call. We paid 65 eur for a cabin. Place looked excellent compared to some other camping places we used during Finland Norway road trip. Warm water, shower inside, toilet, little kitchen, fridge, TV, microwave. 2 beds and one...

Came to Lapland just before Christmas last year for the visit santa trip, i have to say whilst expensive and we stayed for 2 nights, it was worth every penny. I wanted a trip with a difference, not only for our children who i think is their last year believing in the big man (they are 9 &10) but something...

Camping here with our litlle tent was a real disaster. After a rain shower (not too much at all) camping terrain was totally flooded. Camoing ward was acting like a WW2 german camp commander, spying on his guests and racing with a 4-wheel drive over the place correcting people. Don't go there, it's a dreary place

I spent one night at an apartment in Hetan Lomakylä camping site. The price for one person apartment was 60 euros per night. The apartment had two beds, a bathroom and a shower. Beds didn't have linen in them but the pillow had a pillowcase which was a bit odd in my opinion. The apartment was in poor condition considered...

This holiday was booked as a treat for me and the wife ( and our two children) for our 10 year wedding anniversary. All the bookings were done through 'ulookubook'. Transun were the package provider. Firstly we have used ulookubook a few times before and their service has always been excellent and I can not fault them one bit. Secondly...

We stayed three nights at this hotel as part of Transun's "Auld Lang Syne" tour. The tour was very enjoyable. The temperature was never below about –8, so the kids didn't suffer and were able to sledge to their hearts' content. The excursions were all great, and we booked some of the optional (costly...) excursions also. The accommodation at the...

I've read the reviews below, and agree with some of the points. I think a lot depends on the Transun reps, weather, and your own expectations. We went on the Mistletoe and Wine 4 days with Transun, leaving on the 27th, and staying in one of the large cabins. Flight was fine (Enter Air - a Polish airline). Basic, but...

We had a great trip to do the whole Santa Claus and dog sled experience in Enontekio. We were lucky to have the bigger, really cosy cabin, but our friends ended up with the smaller one which was not very nice. The food was uninspiring. Overall it was wonderful though and our children are still talking about it.

We did the package Santa Clause experience with the kids and it was absolutely superb. This site has it's own little sledge run that is made by the owner. It's a comfortable warm place that the kids will love. They will feel free and safe. The shop is within 10 minutes walk. There is also a mini ski resort (50Km...
