Accommodation in Enontekio, Lapland, Finland. Ounasloma is a family company, which has 13 luxury cottages close to the centre of Enontekio, on an ideal, naturelike peaceful place between River Narpistojoki and Lake Ounasjarvi. Smaller cottage has beds for five and bigger cottage for eight persons. All cottages have sauna and fully equipped kitchen. For our guests we have a beach with a mountain view by the Lake Ounasjarvi, 4 rowing boats, 18 bicycles, 30 kick sledges and outdoor maps free of charge.

Beautiful cottage. It had everything we need. Close to supermarket and petrol station. Northern light just outside of the cottage. There is a lake 5 mins walk. Authentic arctic adventure nearby and the lady helped and managed to get us book in very short notice. The owners are genuine ppl u don’t find often these days. They helped us when our car stuck in the snow -25C outside.

Nice, clean and cosy cottage. Friendly host at the reception, beautiful and peaceful place. You can borrow bicycles for free. Bring mosqitoe protection (eg ”off” from s finnish supermarket). There was a sauna in the cottage and a lake 200 meters from the cottage.

Cabins are really well equipped, well located, in the peaceful environment. Beds could be a little bit better but they are ok. However snow mobiles are getting old and a strong smell of oil is present as soon as they are started. Would be very great to renew them!

Wonderful cabin which could have fit eight! Owner gives 110% and explains about all the area has to offer. Cabins are spaced out nicely, so they give privacy. Boats, bikes, etc. all available to borrow. Nice view of stream from kitchen. Nice wooden cabin, very clean. Sauna was good.

Jouduimme peruuttamaan mökkiviikkomme Ounaslomaan koronan vuoksi. Olemme espoolaisia ja Uudenmaan raja suljettiin. Olimme maksaneet puolet (yli 300 euroa) mökkivuokrasta. Nyt Ounasloma ei suostu sitä palauttamaan. Valitamme asiasta kuluttajaviranomaisille. Ounasloma cottages have been of good standard, but now they need repair. The furniture, kitchen items and expecially bed linen are worn out.

Ounasloma offers great service, comfortable cabins and a lovely atmosphere in the center of Hetta (main village of Enontekiö). Cabins are cleverly placed within the area to offer maximum privacy and a sense of "being in the woods". Cabins are well built and have stood the test of time well. Everything is well kept and in good working order.

Clean cottage, maybe not at the luxury level like the name can let you expect - good enough anyway, no doubt. Excellent service! The end cleaning is included the price, which is a pleasure! The warm recommendation.

It's a wonderful place to stay, with very nice and friendly people. Great activities and nice place to visit and stay over. If you are staying in Enontekio at Ounasloma, don't forget to take a walk thru the town and around the cabins. Great place.

Cabin with fireplace and sauna. WiFi is installed in a couple of cabins and sometimes gives just a low and slow signal to the other cabins, this can be improved. Matti also offers his snowmobil excursions which is a very nice way to spend a day. Just a shame that he doesnt always offer his full day excursion. They have a spare stative/tri-pod available which is a must when you want to photograph the northern light. Btw, a Good location for that is at walking distance at the lake or just before that between the trees (path is between cabin 3 and 4) All in All: well equiped kitchen and cabin and close to 1 of the beter villages in this area.

My daughter and I stayed in cabin 7 over the 2017/2018 New Year period, and we were very pleased! The cabin was much better than our expectations, being spacious, comfortable, warm, and with wifi. We met the owners, and they offered us the use of the kick sleds, down hill sleds, and the option of kit, such as warm gloves, etc. They were very kind, and also showed us a great place for sledding. We would definitely stay in one of their cabins again!
