Cabins are not worth of 55 eur, you can see out around door and if wind outside those are freesing cold, very small, not clean. Bed is so small that if you are 190cm you dont fit. Covers so thin and beds are also very hard. Shared shower place you find next to Reception, 100m walk away. Shared Toilet is... More

Don't waste money on glass igloos, you can get a good view here (although you do have to stand out in the cold). The cabin is just a short walk from the lake, which provides a wide open view for seeing the aurora. We stayed for 2 nights and luckily we were able to see a somewhat strong display on... More

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. Location is great - right next to lake (actually very close to several lakes), silence in the woods is amazing. Reindeer hanging around - most of them run away from humans, but one has learned to come to get some food. You need to have your own groceries and toiletries (closest... More

Location is really nice, beside the lake and in the forest, which makes it difficult though if you don't have your own transportation. Unfortunately the rooms were old and not really clean, same for bathroom/toilets, and the owners don't really help to "make you feel home". I would recommend if you have a car and want a nice location, otherwise... More

Although the holiday village is a bit far from the town centre of Ivalo, it is definitely a great place to stay! Especially if you are looking for the best view of the northern lights! This place is secluded enough to offer the darkness for the great view of the northern lights ♡

This is really a great place to stay if you want to get away from the crowd and enjoy the beauty of nature. Riitta, the owner, is so nice who always response quickly to all our requests - pick-up from and deliver to bus stop, stop-by at supermarket, early check-in, fix the light of chalet...etc~ Recommend to stay in Chalet,... This was an excellent place to stay and watch northern lights. You can bring your own groceries and cook in the cottage or order your food from them. There is a lake 50m away from the cottage, where we did northern lights photography. If you feel too cold, you can drive your car near to the lake and enjoy northern... More

We visited the village last winter and stayed there for three nights and we just wish we could have stayed there longer instead of heading off to other towns. Right on the banks of Lake Inari, UkonJarvi holiday village is located in the middle of the wilderness and this has its good and bad sides depending on what you want:... More

The cabin was in an average shape. Basic amenities, nothing special. Bathroom was ok as well as the water stream from the shower. There was no mosquito net on the window, so it was impossible to keep a window open and it was too hot during the night. The "service" we received from the woman at the reception was curt... More
