We stayed as part of the Nordic package for 5 nights as 2 adults and 2 children aged 3 & 6 and it has been a dream. The surroundings is beautiful and the location perfect for us. We enjoyed all of the tours but the Santa visit was by far the best. The elf we had was so attentive to our smallest who was quite shy and by the end of the day she was his best friends and has talked about him for days since. We saw him a couple more times after the excursion and he came over and spoke to her and she gave him a hug on our last day so he really needs a special thanks & im embarrassed to say I didn’t catch his name but I have added a couple pics to show. I know some have complained about Santa but I had none. You could hear him chanting their names as we walked through the forest & both girls both shouted ‘Santa’ and were so excited when they heard this & he was as realistic as you can be. For those complaining maybe your children are too old for Santa is they’re gonna ask about someone’s age! The cabins re beautiful. If we stayed again we’d book the larger ones but they weren’t built I don’t believe when we booked. We’re pretty organised but be nice to have a little extra space but these are perfect for a couple or maybe with 1 child or 2 small children. We had a slight issue with the heating one evening but they resolved it pretty quick. The only thing I would say is that I think it would be nice to have a small separate area for kids meals. Breakfast & lunch were ok but we struggled most nights with dinner for our kids as both are pretty picky and they don’t eat fish, pasta or potatoes so often at dinner they’d just eat some bread and biscuits. There isn’t loads of food compared to some places but the food that is out is beautiful and there tends to be a meat, fish, pasta, veg and potatoes section as well as the usual bread, dessert and salad stations. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the best experiences we had with a resort. We accidently doubled booked some activities and they reached out to us before the trip to verify we made a mistake and then refunded the cost. When we got there the staff was very accommodating and polite. No matter what activity we did, the staff were kind and knowledgeable and seemed genuinely excited and enthusiastic to be there. They were great with our child, who can be a handful, and engaged with him! The food was great, the cabin was amazing, and this was truly a vacation we won't forget!

This place is the most confortable and clean hotel that I even been to. The staff is so friendly, we were five people, my wife, my 3 kids and me. The room was big enough for us and the views simplely amazing. We couldn't see the northern lights due to the clima, it's a pity... So that means maybe we should come back ;) I would love to give a thumb up to the chef, the food was delicious and really healthy. We joined few activities, but the most special one was Searching for Santa. Our children were mesmerized with the elves. George and Selina deserve a promotion. Thank you, you've been amazing. We will never forget you. Even my little girl wanted to stay there with them. After a couple of days gallivanting, is time to go back home. Certainly we are going to come back to Lapland.

We stayed in an Aurora cabin (2 adults,1 child) which was perfectly sized with an excellent wet room area. The experiences we went on were fantastically organised and unhurried, allowing us to truly enjoy the surroundings, which are truly stunning. We were full board and the food was fantastic. It is advertised as a buffet, and it is, but the quality is so much better than any hotel buffet I have had before. The staff in all areas of the resort were welcoming and friendly, special thanks goes to the front of house staff who reorganised our taxi when we were diverted to a different airport. To have a driver waiting for us after such a long journey was a very welcome sight indeed. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the Northern Lights due to the weather, but this gives us the perfect excuse to return.

I was looking for a great place to be, based on nice recommendations we got and i ended up on a nice room with very heavy smell from toilet. First i thought is a momentum and will disappear than during night i realized it gets worse. I announced the topic on reception and they checked and fixed for short time, during second night i had same issue. I see a big topic to go on vacation and sleep in heavy canal smell. Hopefully with this review the quest will find a solution for future. On reception i will keep profesional people ( i know is hard to find) as the waiting time and explanations were lasting to much.

Words cannot fully describe how amazing this place is. The staff were very friendly happy to help with any issues, polite professional and knowledgeable of the area. The activities we had planned were amazing we all loved it as a family. The staff taking us on our trips were full of knowledge and patience and proud of the work they do. We were the first to stay in the new cabin with the sauna and it was beautiful. We are a family of 5 and even with all the beds made up there was plenty of room. The whole cabin was pristine and spacious and well set up. The glass roof sold me the holiday in the first place but once we get inside you really appreciate it. Most nights we were able to just star gaze and aurora watch the kids were amazed. The food was outstanding every course well prepared home-made beautiful food. There was never a part of the stay where any of us didn't like what was put out. We will most definitely come back, and we cannot stop talking about it.

We stayed here in mid-November and they were just gearing up the peak season which seems to start in early December. So it was relatively empty and had more a bed-and-breakfast vibe than a hotel vibe. The place consistents of about 50 bungalows or huts, each with a glass-enclosed bed (with laser-heated glass to keep the windows frost-free). It is about a half-hour from Kittila airport and about 20 minutes past Levi, so it's both easy to get access and, let's say, well outside of town (where "town" isn't that big to being with). The service was warm and friendly. The food was very good either running a small buffet or basically cooked-for-you depending on how many people were there eating that day. In all cases, the food was excellent. The main room -- fireplace, cafe, sitting room, and dinning area all in one -- is impeccably done. The bungalows are great as well, we got the larger one, which had the glass-enclosed bed, a sitting area, a bathroom, and a sauna which was great. The room had a minibar which was appreciated as well. We did the husky farm visit which was fun and interested. We walked along the reindeer trail (but before the reindeer showed up as we were early season) and we did the Aurora Hunting in the wilderness which, when we visisted, was the difference between seeing the northern lights and not. (Technically, they were visible from the hotel but faint, and the guide took us to 2-3 places (total drive maybe 80 kilometers) over 3 hours where we saw the lights without light pollution and in beautiful settings. When they are in full bloom you can certainly see them from the comfort of your bed, but when they are not, you need to take this plackage to go find them. Seeing the northern lights, we've learned, requires the intersection of three things: clear weather (no clouds), solar activity (which is measured and forecasted), and ideally a dark night (e.g., not a full moon). My strong suggestion is to stay 3-4 nights if you want to be reasonably sure of seeing them. We stayed three nights and luckily did the aurora hunting on the best of them, and saw them -- not in full force, but certainly enough to justify the trip. We also did the sauna / hot tub program in the main facility and it was great. Superb sauna facility combined with going back and forth through the snow to the hot tub!

Beautifully done, both rooms and lodge. Chef is great! Wonderful breakfast and dinner, even when feeding only 2. Staff exceedingly friendly! Only negative- we visited in offseason, chasing northern lights. We were the only ones there. If weather had been perfect, it might be a 5. But not sure they should have even taken our reservation this early in the season. Truly nothing else to do, although they did provide us a personal tour to visit the dog sled teams. Trainer is great and it was nice of her to do it. There was a charge for everything! Go during the season, it should be great with snow!!

My husband and I visited late Sept and let me tell you everything was perfect! We loved the cabin with the glass roof (extremely well insulated and cozy), the staff were phenomenal, we ate SO well (every single thing we ate was out of this world), and the activities were unique and really made the trip one of our favorite parts of visiting Finland. We weren’t sure that we would see the Northern Lights based on the weather, and we both agreed it wouldn’t have mattered because everything else about that part of the trip was so great, and then on our last night we got the icing on the cake and saw them from a location recommended by our guide. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.
