Detailed Reviews
Hotel was clean near the beach and all amenities were within walking distance. The hotel manager was very helpful. Breakfast however was very disappointing self service would have been a better option. We had to order our breakfast and with the language barrier it was misinterpreted and we usually didn’t get what we asked for

The two most important factors in a hotel stay are cleanliness and comfort of the bed. I give it high marks on both. Host Domenico and his wife were extremely kind and friendly.. I’m temporarily mobility impaired and lost my walker on the plane. Domenico found a place where one could be rented. It made a big difference for my stay. We were there five nights at the end of September so didn’t need AC or heat. Would certainly stay there again.

I understand the 2 stars but we stayed two nights there and still spent €450
thrown
the structure remained in the 7th century, clean and the bathrooms quite modernized but substandard, a disabled or otherwise an elderly person does not even enter the shower given the small entrance and with barriers
Old and neglected, the rooms are not as in the photos but you see the state of neglect of the structure
Breakfast deserves about 1 star, all cold, nondescript, one type of cereal, one type of biscuit, no Nutella in a hotel where children are
Not a cake or doughnut, no food for intolerant or similar
A parking lot where there is no place for the car if you come back in the evening after dinner and then you have to park outside
Rude staff. The lady at breakfast doesn't even greet you
At exactly 10 o'clock they called us from the reception to literally kick us out of the rooms despite knowing we had mom with me disabled
Positive note is the location because it is practically 50 meters from the sea and the town center
Politeness, courtesy and greater care and attention of the customer would confirm at least the two stars that in my opinion do not even deserve
Not even a hairdryer in the room and half-ramshackle chairs outside to a half-rugged terrace.
a nightmare
lucky I was there for the sea and friends and I just slept there

Best holiday we've ever had, staff went above and beyond to make us welcome. Hotel staff are so kind and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend to friends and family and already looking forward to our return.

Amazing place, staff were so welcoming and helpful and treated us all like old friends; they couldn't have been any more accommodating. Even though the room was quite minimalist, it was definitely comfortable with great AC and fast WiFi. The location is brilliant too, just a short walk from the shore and close to a lot of great restaurants. Overall a great stay and I would definitely stay again given the chance.

As a group of 12, including 4 children aged 2-14, this was perfect. The hosts were simply wonderful, so welcoming and doing everything they possibly could for us - they made us feel like old friends. The rooms are minimalist but comfortable with excellent AC, and just a few minutes walk from both the beach and the town. Lots of amenities nearby for food and entertainment. If we came back to Scauri we would, without hesitation, book this hotel again.
