A wonderful guesthouse, with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Good rooms. Amazing breakfast with divine local products! As we saw the most wonderful northern lights in their backyard, this guesthouse has a special place in my heart now :-)

This is a beautiful northern inn. Great for travellers wanting a home stay experience with comfortable and clean rooms on the outskirts of Akureyi. The breakfast was fantastic (the pate particularly noteworthy)! The lamb dinner another highlight.

We were on guided tour and got to be introduced with this accommodation. everything was perfect , clean , friendly with a family managed bnb. I'm in awe with the owner's dog by the name in English " bright " that's so energetic and active. Within the room you have two windows which we utilise to wait for aurora within...

Hello guys. I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay here. Bjartur is still talking about you, or should I say; barking about you ;) We told you that even everything is expensive in Iceland the Northern lights are still free of charge. Still I say, you'll never know what we will do in this crazy country :) I hope...

A modest hotel but clean and comfortable, the staff is very accommodating. We arrived late but they held supper for us, a traditional Icelandic meat stew, yum. After touring the area the next day we were served fresh leg of lamb with appropriate sides and sauces, best lamb I ever had. The owner alerted us about the Northern Lights. We...

Hello Russel. I'm happy that you had a good time here. And like we said, we do not charge anything for the Northern lights! ;) Let me tell you about the lamb - which we think is possibly the second best lamb in the world. From the day the lambs are born until the "go to town" like we say,...

The manager, Karl, is very friendly. The breakfast was fresh and offered a wonderful selection of pate, fresh eggs, and meats and cheeses. It is close to downtown Akureyri. The rooms are clean and spacious. I was very comfortable with the temperature. It was very cold outside, but the room was perfect. I wasn't able to tour the farm, but...

We slept well during our stay here, but what really made an impression on us was the friendliness of the staff. They were super helpful and very welcoming. We would stay here again because of them! It is a wonderful location, only 10 minutes from the town, but it is very peaceful and quiet there. A great place to return...

Highly recommended for visitors to northern Iceland. Just 10 min. of scenic drive from town, Lambs inn provides a combination of warm welcome, comfortable rooms and great views, and above all - the hot tub located in the most scenic spot and the excellent food (rare in Iceland) - with special mention to the home made breads in breakfast and...

Great location for a bed and breakfast on a sheep farm. Very peaceful and can imagine it would be a great place to see Northern Lights -- we were there when sun nearly didn't set. Staff is very friendly and helpful with advice on places to see nearby. Their restaurant is fantastic and their special lamb dinner sells out quickly...

I have to say this was a let down.. From the start with the room being ice cold.. To the towel hangers ripped out of the wall.. And yes dead flies on the ceiling The restaurant was not open but he still charged full price.. And also tried putting us "city" folk into our place however we are farm folk...

We stayed in one of the out-buildings which contains 3-4 rooms with one shower room and one bathroom (with a door the kept sticking). The rooms were decent sized and overlook a wide valley filled with fields. There was quite a bit of junk in the yard, diminishing from the charm of this rural location. A nice breakfast was served...
