The hotel was booked through a travel agency. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was convenient to the harbor and to the city center. What wasn't good was the construction going on in the hotel. Constant noise made it difficult to relax in the afternoon between excursions. No phone in our room, the bedside reading lamps weren't...

The hotel is approximately 20 mins from central Reykjavik by bus. You can get the number 1 bus outside the hotel which will take you to Reykjavik. There is also plenty of parking if you decide to hire a car. The main tour companies picked up and dropped us off outside the hotel. The hotel lobby is currently being renovated...

Not great at all.... on arrival we had to go into a different entrance that was small and cramped because they are doing renovation of a new reception. We were not made aware of this... and I really wish we had been as we would of changed hotels!! We had to wait for our room to be ready as they...

When we arrived we were greeted by helpful staff in reception. They were apologetic that building work was being carried out in the regular reception but it looks like it will be impressive when done. Staff are great at helping with day trip bookings and this hotel is a major pickup up stop for Grayline Tours - very helpful. Rooms...

Upon arrival at the hotel we were advised that there was some renovations taking place and that there was a temporary reception area. We were allocated a room on the ground floor , as we proceed to our room we discovered the extent of the renovation! So much so to gain access to our room we were required to walk...

I picked up this hotel as I was on a conference not far from it and it was a good choice. The rooms are small but nice and clean and I rested well, all three nights. There is a breakfast but it is far from a spectacular one, although fairly good to start your day. The hotel is close to...

Just got back from a trip to Iceland and stayed in this hotel from 1/07-1/10. Pros: The front desk staff, a couple of them, both night and day shift, have been very helpful in answering questions, making phone calls for us to book taxi and communicate with our tour company, reserve for pickup time, even changing local currency for us...

Very clean, the breakfast was nice. The rooms were very warm, as well. DANIEL and SOLVE at the reception were very helpful. There is a Happy hour - beer is 2 for 1 every day 4 pm to 6 pm. Plenty of free parking.

The hotel was included in a travel package, so we were expecting very basic rooms. As it turned out, our daughter and son-in-law were given a standard room...nice sitting area with separate sleeping area and a comfortable bathroom. My wife and I were given a suite, which was a huge room with floor to ceiling windows on two sides. We...

I stayed here in a party of 5 and found the hotel very reasonably priced. We had one large room where we all slept and a tidy size bathroom. Even though the room was a bit crowded we didn't mind as this is what we'd booked and we were only staying there to sleep as we had a very busy...
