My boyfriend and I cam across this hotel on Expedia when were trying to look for a cheaper option to stay that was easy transport to Reyjkavik. The hotel is clean and comfortable and provides free breakfast which was definitely a bonus for me. The front desk - 3 alternating gentleman - were very helpful in answering our questions and...

We stayed here over New Years and were very satisfied with our visit. The hotel was clean, hotel staff helpful, and conveniently located to the city center of Reykjavik via taxi or public transportation. It is about a fifteen minute walk from the town of Hafnarfjordur where there are shops, restaurants, and a harbor. Breakfast was an adequate sampling of...

This hotel was great. Nice big rooms , which were very warm . Staff very friendly and helpful. Very basic Breakfast, but if you want a little more , there are plenty of shops and take aways in the area. I would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget. This hotel definitely falls into the budget category but it was clean and friendly and serves a basic but adequate breakfast. Hafnarjordur is pretty far from downtown Reykavik but there is a bus stop very close to the hotel and the public bus goes directly to downtown for $4 which makes this hotel very convenient despite its location. We also...

We stayed at this hotel as part of a package deal and we have no complaints. The front of house staff are great, very helpful with excellent english and nothing is too much trouble. The continental breakfast is also good - pastries, melon, oranges, tomatoes, hams, sausage, porridge, cereal, breads etc. so you can have a hearty breakfast before heading...

Just returned home from a 4 night stay with my boyfriend. We booked a package through Secret Escapes and got a very good deal so we were expecting basic, no frills accommodation which is what we got. This hotel is perfectly adequate for a base if you wish to explore Iceland - after all you don't go to see the...

Slept well, clean rooms, good little kitchenette, short walk to village, plenty restaurants in walking distance and supermarkets, good bus service to Reykjavik, had a fantastic time. Breakfast was the same every day, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, bread rolls, toast and Danish.

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of November for my sons birthday treat. He wanted to see the northern lights so I chose this hotel based on the reviews, location and price. It lived up to our expectations. The room was large, very warm and well equipped. Breakfast was ok but my son missed his bacon!!! Don't know...

The staff here are all very kind, helpful, funny and interesting and you really couldn't ask for more from them. Breakfasts are served between 7am and 10am and are a classic continental breakfast laid out in a simple and clear manor. However, the rooms themselves leave something to be desired. The room my dad and i stayed in was one...
