Building easily findable even without GPS, welcome from the friendly manager, take off at the entrance but saw the snow outside nothing shocking. Price quite correct given the average of the country. Good quality bedding and good breakfast buffet. Pierrick

Another great place to stay in Iceland. We would've stayed two nights, if we had the time. It is a lovely old house built in 1903. Parking next to the guesthouse was limited, but there was alternative parking nearby. We had one of the two attic rooms. (If you have large bags, it would be difficult to get them up...

Travelling alone in Iceland is expensive, and paying €70 for a tiny room is quite steep (although I've paid more elsewhere). Nice enough place, friendly owner who had lots of information about the area, good buffet breakfast, wifi worked fine. Small room, thin walls, separate loos. Fine for one night stay. Limited parking so had to park across the street...

The rooms are clean and spacious, 2 showers and additional toilet in each floor. The owner was friendly and kind. The walls are thin so we heard chatting and snoring through the night.. Wifi signal was medium and so was the breakfast. It is prohibited to use the kitchen which was disappointing.

Nice guesthouse with a friendly host. Shared bathrooms but the guesthouse is great value especially for this part of the world. A very short walk from town. Rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable.

Stayed here for 2 nights during my icelandic roadtrip. On the day of my arrival i went on a whalewatching tour b4 checking in in the guesthouse. It was a nice welcome by the host. He made me feel welcome and the room was really nice. Its quite a big guesthouse but everything was very clean and comfortable. There are...

On our road trip around Iceland, this was the only place we stayed where we did not have our own cottage (i.e., bathroom). With two young kids, I was quite nervous. Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised with how well this guesthouse fit our needs. Our room was on the first floor, so I was nervous about front door noise...

We stayed in several hotels and guesthouses on our ten day trip along the Ring Road. Arbol Guesthouse was the best! The welcome we received was warm and friendly. They offered suggestions for dinner options. The location was ideal. Our room overlooked a stream and deck below. So peaceful. We stayed for two nights so we could enjoy a North...

Lovely warm welcome by Nikita who gave us good suggestions for restaurants. He was more than helpful and carried our bags to the room. The room was large, bright and beautifully decorated overlooking garden. Although bathroom was shared not a problem as 2 on our floor plus extra W.C. All was spotless. Breakfast was fairly standard and the guest house is...

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in Husavik. Arbol is the quintessential European guesthouse with simple, but attractive decor, comfortable beds, shared bathrooms, and gracious staff. The small dining room and buffet breakfast were enjoyable and excellent restaurants and the waterfront are within walking distance. We truly hated to leave we were so comfortable!
