The Canopy by Hilton Reykjavik City Center could hardly have been more conveniently located. Most everything we wanted to do was a short walk from the hotel. Our room was small with lots of street noise, but the beds were great as was the bath....More
Our two-night stay at Canopy was all-round great. We had never stayed at this new-concept Hilton brand before. We weren't sure what to expect when we arrived, with the cool-and-groovy reception desks with bar areas around it, and vinyl albums to choose from to play...More

We stayed in January and booked various excursions (Blue Lagoon/Golden Circle/south of the island and snowmobiling) through Grayline & Arctic Adventures. The bus stop all the tours use is literally 5 seconds from the hotel, so is really easy. Some of the roads we came across were very snowy/icy and obviously the tour drivers are highly experienced with these conditions. There were a few times I thought “thank goodness someone else was driving”!! Enjoy your trip - the hotel is fantastic and so is Iceland!
