Stayed 3 nights from 17th March. Very nice place to stay. A little dated but very warm and homely. The owner is very talkative and informative, telling us about local amenities etc .Good cooking facilities and equipment. A car is essential due to location but it's best anyway as you get the freedom to go where you want. A little...

Positive points Warm, clean and near city center and close to supermarket. Our apartment was separate to the main house with a nice decking area to sit if the weather permits. Negatives Our apartment had so much potential but the place needs fully decorated as the wallpaper in the bedroom was peeling off and had been patched up to cover...

On arrival we expected to stay in the guest house shown on the advert upon arrival we were taken to a garrage around the back of the house converted into a flat the front door was badly fitting the frame we were told not to worry about locking it . The interior was also very dated . The shower was...

We had the one bedroom at the back of the house. Nice cosy place, the bed was very comfy, there was everything we needed in the flat. The shower was a bit challenging though. Except that nothing to complain about. The owner was nice. Was one the cheapest place we stayed and it's a good value for the quality.

Guesthouse is located in a cul-de-sac in a nice neighborhood off of a major road. Parking is on the street. There are three rooms which share a small kitchen and full bathroom. Host is personable and friendly. Beds are comfy. Clean throughout. It's a drive (can't walk there!) to downtown Reykavik, however, there are restaurants nearby. No TV.

We stayed briefly as we were up and away to the airport early in the morning. This guesthouse is an excellent value with clean, comfortable rooms and access to an airport shuttle service which our host was happy to help us arrange.

This affordable place (Iceland is expensive!) is clean and the fact that it is a 30-40 min walk from the city centre is not terribly significant unless you like to be close to the action and lots of restaurants (this is a residential area and there are some but few restaurants). The tour companies in Iceland will pick you up...

The guesthouse is 40 min walk to city center, 8 min in car, it has a kitchenette that you can use to keep and make food, everything was very clean, for the price this is a very good option. If I could give a 3.5 I would, I think that's more representative of this guesthouse. I would recommend it if...

I stayed here on my first and last nights in Iceland. Reykjavik is an expensive town so I was looking for a budget friendly option. The guest house rooms are in the basement of a large house a couple of miles from the city centre. The rooms are simply furnished but clean and certainly adequate for a few days stay....

I stayed here for a week and was very happy with the accommodation on arrival. Throughout the booking process the owners were so helpful and understanding and made my travel organising stress free. The accommodation is on the groundfloor underneath the owners house, and we had a twin room with good space and a wardrobe. There was also a bright...
