I was pretty anxious about staying in my first hostel, the thought of sharing bedrooms and bathrooms wasn't appealing. Though we booked a deluxe double room with and en suite for a week (and for a very reasonable price I might add), and it was absolutely everything we could of asked for. As anyone will tell you, Iceland is expensive,...

Good size room. Bathroom was down the hall, one men's and one women's per floor. Wasn't a problem for us, but something to consider when booking a hotel. Room had sink and mirror, so could wash up, brush teeth, guys could shave, right in the room. Hotel was too far from downtown to walk. If we were on a tour,...

We were staying just one night at the Capital Inn and it was really okay. Our room was pretty big and very clean. We were lucky and it was not a busy time when we were staying there but I am wondering how 1 bathroom/gender will be enough per Story when all the rooms are booked out. It was the...

The shopping center listed as nearby? Not worth it as a reason to book here. Bonus grocery store is about 15 minutes away and it IS the best grocery store in Reykjavik. Food in Iceland is expensive, so I highly recommend stocking up at Bonus and cooking at your hostel/apartment. Eating out 1-3 times is enough to get the Iceland...

We stayed for 2 nights from 28th- 30th September 2016. I stayed in a four bed dorm, very good value, clean, no problems. My daughter and her friend had their own room which included breakfast, also good value. If you are staying in dorm then breakfast is 1500 kr. Breakfast was good, well stocked, cereal toast ham cheese etc, I...

My brother booked this "hotel" using travel points. When we arrived, we were given a room with a sink. The restrooms/shower were down the hall. This is not a hotel. We would never have booked such a place as it is not our travel style. We requested to change to another room and there were none available. We stayed the...

We stayed at the hostel. Generally good experience. - clean rooms. - friendly reception. - big kitchen and equipment provided for self cooking. - decent enough bathrooms. Men's showers were a bit lacking but woman's were decent enough.

We stayed here as a group for a night and it was worth the price. The beds and restrooms were clean. The breakfast served, though overpriced, was really good. I would recommend this place to everyone staying in Reykjavik.

We had double room with en-suite, at top of hotel, for three nights. Room was clean, decor a little aged. Quiet - weren't disturbed by other guests, had window open facing main road but didn't notice traffic noise. Bed was comfortable - we slept well. Breakfast good - as much as you want - and we had evening meal one...
