We stayed only one night and arrived very late, but spent most of the morning there. We were sent an email in advance with detailed instructions how to open the door and where to find the key for our room. Our room and the bathroom...More
We had a wonderful time in The peace center where we stayed for two nights. The place was peaceful, clean and quite. But what I loved the most was all the grate arts they had on the walls.

The place is really nice and cozy. The rooms are fine. The only thing to complain about was that they were redecorating some rooms and it was a little bit dirty because of the dust. And also they didn't offer breakfast. But the place is...More

Hello, My husband and I are interested in staying at the Peace Center. This is our 1st time in Iceland and a little confused about accommodations. Are there rooms and baths we wouldn't have to share? I have stayed in hostels, but my husband would not go for it easily. What is the difference in a "Guest House" and a hostel? Thanks for info.

If you book the superior room you have a bathroom next to it on a separate floor that normally nobody else uses.
