Loved it. The location might actually be a negative to a few, as it is out of the city center, but it is nestled out near the tip of the peninsula in a residential area and is quite cozy. The number 11 bus takes you within like a 10 ish minute walk though (or if you have a car) so...

The Blue House B&B was very nice and easy to get to from Reykjavik- only about 10 minutes from downtown. I stayed for one night and although I booked extremely last minute, the price was very reasonable and my room was quite nice, clean and spacious. I will say, the check-in and checkout process was a bit confusing at first,...

I can only recommend renting a room at Blue House if you're planning one or a few days around Reykjavik. Zeno seems to be a really nice guy, unfortunately we did not get to meet. Well, maybe next time! It's located right on the Seltjarnarnes peninsula, a perfect spot for jogging or quiet morning / evening walks with a beautiful...

We stayed here before taking off on a Road Trip around Iceland. We never met the owner but thr instructions were perfect how to get in, find our room, all was ready, drinking water waiting for us, spacious and nice rooms. Bathroom and kitchen shared with a feeling like at home or visiting friends or relatives. They have 2 houses...

Really friendly owner who made everything run smoothly with great communication before stay. Excellent room and generous breakfast. Beautiful location just outside of Reykavik. Very close to sea and great walks. Plenty of parking nearby.

As I stated in my review from June which the manager just replied to, we occupied both rooms in the green house as we were traveling with another couple. The food left in the fridge etc. was from a previous guest(s). Anyway, if the cottage is now being thoroughly cleaned between guests that will be a welcomed improvement.

The Blue House is a gem. Zeno, the owner, takes great pride in keeping his business running smoothly and ensuring that his guests have the best possible experience. I arrived very early, and Zeno greeted me personally to show me to my room. The breakfast selection was delicious. Fresh bread baked in-house, eggs, coffee, tea, juice, milk, cereal and a...

We had a quick, but great stay at the Blue House! The area was very quiet (a little ways from downtown), however, very easy if you have a rental car which we had (parking was not a problem). We stayed in one of the upstairs bedrooms, the room was very clean and comfortable (we had a view of the ocean)....
