My wife and I decided on a short break to Reykjavik and the Borg appeared to be a good bet. We stayed in a suite on the 3rd floor with a view of the square. The hotel decor is Art Deco, and it's a look they've done extremely well. From floor to ceiling it looks great, and we particularly liked...

Booked the Northern Lights package through the hotel. Everything was well organised. The trips with the company 'Super jeeps' were excellent. Veronica in the spa was suberb and re arranged our massages as we arrived back late from a trip.

We had a spacious room with views of the square. I found it strange that they provided two single duvets instead of one king-size for the bed but the bed was comfortable enough. There is a fully stocked minibar in the fridge which unfortunately leaves little room for your own drinks. Unfortunately the restaurant is currently closed but will they...

Absolutely amazing hotel. Perfect location in the city and easily accessible to any of the bars, restaurants, and shops. Delicious breakfast and food! Spa is also super clean and relaxing. Highly recommend.

We stayed here 27th Feb for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday. The hotel is very central and well located, and our room (411) was extremely comfortable. However, we had several e mail exchanges (before we arrived) with the front desk, and we had several conversations with them (once we had arrived), and were very disappointed by the lack of...

We have just returned home after staying 4 nights at the Hotel Borg. The hotel is beautifully decorated in 1930's Art Deco Style with everything that the traveller could want. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are spacious with huge beds and the bathrooms even have underfloor heating. The shower room is amazing with the biggest shower head...

We have recently returned from a 4 night stay at this wonderful hotel. It is like taking a step back in time but with all modern amenities. We stayed in Room 233 which, I believe, is one of the rooms that has been recently refurbished. The room was huge, and had a really comfortable bed - strangely had two separate...

Arrived to snow that has'nt been that bad for circa 50 yrs. Spent 3 nights here. After reading reviews about asking to get a room overlooking the square at the front I did just that well in advance and got my wish. Room had all facilities, tea & coffee facilities, LCD TV with english channels, robes and slippers, safe, ample...

Visited Iceland recently and stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is centrally positioned and very clean and tidy. It has a very small Spa and a Jamie Oliver restaurant attached to it (although I didn't visit here on this trip). Breakfast had a good selection of the usual suspects, cold meats, breads, cereals and cooked food available. We were...
