This is not a 4-star hotel by American standards - the rooms are small and plain, but the service is 5-star! We arrived very early and exhausted and despite the hotel being full, Tony the manager went out of his way to rearrange a double room into two twins for us so we could get a few hours sleep, and...

This hotel is in the best location to stay, you are in the middle of everything that is going on. Rooms are fine with comfy beds and we had a nice view onto the main Street. The breakfast options were good and it's nice that you can pop in there any time in the day for free tea and coffee....

I picked this hotel as part of an Iceland Air package. The location is the best part about the hotel. You can easily walk to all of the main attractions in Reykjavik. Everything in Iceland is expensive, so a big breakfast if a great way to start the day. Nothing hot, but cheese, meat and hard boiled eggs will last...

Decent hotel, spacious rooms, comfy beds. The breakfast was simple, but nice. You have the convenience of stepping out and being right on the main shopping street. My only complaint was that it was very loud all night because of drunk people having fun outside. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay.

We stayed here for about a week in mid-February. Our accommodations were bundled with a terrific deal through Icelandair. Our room was average, meaning it was -clean -kind of small & stuffy -not very new or plush -the bed was old/saggy -the shower in the bathroom was great! We used our room predominantly as a home base for exploring Iceland....

Perfect location. Very good breakfast which was included (food in Reykjavik is very expensive). The room is kind of small ( compared to other rooms in Europe this room was actually kind of big, though) and little out dated. The staff was also very friendly. Also, it is a good idea to bring a string to hang in the bathrooms...

We arrived early in Reykjavik and stopped at our hotel at 9am to see if we could drop off our luggage before the 2pm check-in (you can, it goes in the manager's office behind the desk). However, we also learned that for 30 Euros you can check in early. BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT! Breakfast is also included in early...

Basic hotel in an excellent location. Walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. Rooms are clean, however shower area could do with an update ( shower head was chipped/broken). All in one shampoo and body wash provided. Convenient as tour buses all pick up from the hotel. Breakfast- cold meat, boiled egg, cheese, variety of bread, cereal and juice....

We stayed three nights at the hotel. Checking in was easy, if you can find this unprepossessing place. The person at the desk was very helpful. The room is neat, clean, but quite small. There wsre no instructions at how to control lights, phone the desk, or local information. The tv was not working properly, but after one day the...
