The location of this hotel was the reason for my stay. This was located right in the heart of the city. Easy walks to many restaurants and shopping. The transfer from the airport knew exactly where this hotel was located. This hotel only has one elevator which was fine because I never had to wait longer than 10 seconds for...

The hotel is very centrally located in Reykjavik with many restaurants, hallgrímskirkja church, and shopping very close. The staff was friendly and helpful in all regards. The showers were a bit tight, but overall the room was well appointed.

Great location and easy access to downtown. Reykjavik. Staff very friendly, good size room, varied continental breakfast. Only downside was the really loud music from the club next door going on until the small hours.

A great hotel centrally located to shopping and terrific restaurants. Within easy walking to harbor and bus station for tours. Street facing rooms can be a bit noisy from the nightlife. Good facilities and good breakfast. Staff was terrific. Entrance to hotel can be a bit of a challenge for those with physical handicaps.

This hotel is in a perfect location- easily walkable to bus station for all tours etc.- and many local sights. Lots of fabulous eating places, and it's on the main shopping street. Always pick ups and drop offs for tours outside the door!

We took a shuttle from the airport to the hotel which dropped off people along the way. We were the last ones dropped - right at the center of Reykjavik's bustling main street, Laugavegur. We could easily walk to restaurants, shops, the harbour, iconic church and manny other attractions - and started renting a car (to drive around Iceland) a...

Ok, the hotel is quite average in appearance, but it was good where it counts; comfy beds, clean, good facilities, good breakfast, good service. The real highlight was the location it was perfect. Really convenient on the main shopping/nightlife street. Yet there was no noise or disturbance, but we did have a rear facing room on the top floor. Highly...

We stayed here for nine nights in June. Wonderful, accommodating staff, and small but functional rooms. Decent breakfast with ample choices is included. It can get a bit noisy at night if you leave the windows open, but we used ear plugs and were fine. Don't forget your eye mask if you're visiting in summer! The blackout curtains do a...

Stayed at this hotel in November 2014, and although it is clean and serves a decent breakfast - a few tweaks do need to be made. The steps leading up to the hotel main door from the street are a bit on the steep side and it really needs a hand rail especially for older guests. There were a few...
