Hotel is clean and there are friendly staff. Room on 7th floor was basic but perfectly acceptable. No air con though which lead to a rather stuffy room, there was a window that opened slightly but that was it. Beds had very soft foam matresses. No tea or coffee making facilities but a late store and garage a minute's walk...

The room was a fair size and clean (superior room), with a good view over the harbour. NO Kettle for drinks. There is nothing like a cuppa when you get up in the morning while getting ready to go out, so disappointed with that. Shower room a fair size modern and clean but well used. The breakfast was horrible. Not...

Hotel was basic.. Food served in the hotel was basic.. nothing startling. Free Wifi Holidays ...many groups of school children running around. Hotel is not very quiet at night due to that!^ Good location... near to the sea. Walking distance to shops. Subway opposite the hotel.

This was the last overnight stay we had before our flight back to Blighty so we hoping for a relaxing experience. Unfortunately for us this hotel seems to cater largely for coach parties. Subsequently we had a long wait on arrival at the hotel. The staff were friendly and apologised for the wait. The room itself was clean tidy and...

The hotel Cabin is a budget hotel that is perfectly suited if you don't plan to spend all your day in your room. It's location is a nice gentle walk into the main part of town and is close to the coast. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. The rooms are not the biggest I've ever stayed in but...

I stayed here whilst accompanying a school trip. The hotel is clearly used to catering for school groups, and was ideal for this purpose. Rooms were small but comfortable. I stayed in a deluxe room on the ground floor, and was impressed by how sound proof the room appeared to be, despite the fact that all the other rooms on...

Like many of the hotels in Reykjavik it's kind of at the edge of the town, but I like where it is- very close to the sea - with some sea views. Standed rooms are very like a cabin on a boat. I don't do fancy. I had been here before a few years ago, and preferred the room at...

the hotel is a bit sparse, But nice and warm, and, believe me, if your visiting in winter, its a godsend. Its on the suburbs of the city, but there's a regular bus service over the road. The petrol station road over the road comes in handy for snacks and drinks. The rooms are a bit on the small side,...

We arrived late at the hotel due to our flight being delayed from the UK (bad weather in Iceland). We were upgraded to a deluxe room on arrival as all the standard rooms were booked. (Good job as the standard rooms are very small - recommend booking deluxe or superior). The Ladies at reception (Kola, Nini, Carolina) were really helpful...

This was our second trip to the Hotel Cabin in Reykjavik, and once again it was a wonderful stay. We stayed in a Superior room on the 7th floor facing the bay. The views were spectacular.
