The hotel has an excellent location in the center of Reykjavik and is very conveniently located close to the shops and restaurants. It makes for an easy pick up point for tourist buses and sightseeing tours. Yes, the hotel is very basic but it does...More
Getting into the hotel took a while, we arrived at the pre-determined time. Pushed the button multiple times, no response. Finally called and heard someone answer, they could clearly hear us in the lobby but waited til we called (on our international plan, thanks) before...More
Very basic and very well located in the city center. Poor and expensive breakfast. Don't take it. You'd better go for a coffee nearby. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you don't find another alternative as it was in my case.
This is a very basic hotel. Even if you may not like budget hotels you are almost forced to book a budget hotel in iceland as it is a very expensive country.

I can't possibly say this strong enough. This is an awful place to stay. Perhaps if you're 18, don't mind bad service, horrible hotel rooms, noise and broken beds then fine.

Does the hotel have a shuttle that can pick me up at the airport when I arrive, or should I book a bus ride? I arrive at 6:30am.

I'm so sorry for the late answer as I didn't check TripAdvisor app for sometime. Hotel does not have a transfer but there are buses from airport to central location in the city and from there you can get transfers to hotels. When you board the bus at the airport they give/you have to buy a ticket according to zone where your hotel is located. Once you get down at the central bus station you are being transported to your hotel.
