Excellent accommodation. Room quiet, very clean, warm & cosy. Beds very comfortable & clean, slept well. Seperate shower room with an amazing hot shower. Good self catering kitchen with all we needed. No restricted hours to return at night & Erla & Guido on the reception were very helpful & friendly. Excellent value for money, & as we didn't get...

Very pleased with size and cleanliness of our room and general facilities available to us. Nice hot shower, bit Sulphury but was expecting that and you get used to it. Nice hostel, friendly, rooms clean and big, staff friendly. The only sad thing is that it's pretty far away from downtown and the bus is one every 30min. If u rent a car, it's perfect because there is parking there ! The breakfast is not included but really nice to take !

We were traveling with the group of 45 persons. By arrival the rooms were not prepared, so we had to wait for about 45 minutes to get registred. One of the rooms looked like prison, small window, very blank and cold. Beds in dormitories were fine, but they were really filthy - garbadge and leftovers in drawers by the bed,...

Hostel itself was good with good facilities. Was very quiet as Christmas so not sure what it's like when really busy. Breakfast was plenty. In four bed dorm with bathroom which was big with lockers if you have padlock. Bit far from city centre if you prefer more convenient location. All tours pick you up from hostel and drop you...

I stayed here for around 4 nights in a 6 bed dorm and had a fantastic stay! The interiors are very well done and clean. The staff are helpful. The kitchens are well stocked with free food! Also, there's a fantastic camping ground on the back of the hostel followed by a beautiful botanical garden and an animal park. The...

We shared a 2 person private room as a couple on our first visit to Iceland. The room was clean and comfortable, with two single beds which we pushed together to make a double. Beds were made up and towels were provided. We had breakfast which was expensive but good, especially if you're going to have a long day. We...

We stayed here for two nights, without reservation so we were very glad that we could still get a room. The first night we stayed in a 6 bed room. At first we were there alone, but in the middle of the night we woke up by the noise of two others who came in. The second night we spend...

This was beyond expectations when I booked this hostel. I expected minimum offerings, but I ended up getting way more! As mentioned here, there's free wifi everywhere (including rooms), clean bathrooms, clean bed linens and covers, eating/lounge area, a rock climbing wall and a campsite in the back. The people behind the front desk were helpful and efficient. They checked...

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a 2 bed room almost like a prison cell :) but the bed was ok. You get free access to WiFi, kitchen with fridge and cooking facilities, luggage storage etc. The buffet breakfast was ok. You can hear everything in the rooms so bring earplugs if you have trouble sleeping.
